A good pop and pour. Big enough to go with a steak without overpowering it. Excellent price to value as well.

Decanted for 4 hours and it still seemed tight. Almost mildly sulfuric. Drank half and placed a paper towel over the mouth of the decanter. Revisited the next day (approx 18 hours later) and it was great! Nice floral notes like lilac and a nice, long finish. I must admit, I was amazed that this was so good after being opened so long and also for it's age. If you have one, now is the time. Not going to get any better.

Well past. Still drinkable. Decanted 4 hours. A former picture of its prime. Much like a faded photograph. Still has notes of cherry- acid/vinegar creeping in though... What can one expect from a 15 yr old Sangiovese? Not much- open now if you have one...

Very volcanic with a nice finish. Pop and pour at a restaurant. Bringing one home as well... In a nice spot right now!

Delicious! Big and round with an extremely long finish. One of the best Cuvaison vintages I've ever had. In a good spot right now. Decanted 2 hours. Yum!

Nice vintage! Pop and pour. Silky wine for being so young. Shelf a few for sure- this is going to be awesome in 5 years! Blackberries, moderate oak, and a little mocha. A nice blend. If you get the opportunity, stop by the winery and do the AVA room. Blend your own wine. It's fun!

She's at the end! Good, smooth wine. Tannins are almost completely gone. Decanted 2 hours. It opened nicely but the 'punch' is all gone. Glad I saved it though...

Pop and pour at a Christmas party. Good balance and easily approachable. I'm holding one in the cellar for a few years. Btw- not even close to the '07. There's the gem!

Good. Chalky with a firm domination of black cherry. Not past it's prime yet but close. Great for the auction price of $20.

For all those who say- she is past... Wrong! After two hours of decanting- opened into a cherry, chocolate bomb! Perfect with (the girl says) flourless chocolate cake. (I say) Lamb, coffee, and cigar smoke. It keeps getting older as time passes- Decant at least three hours. Indulge in decadent beauty...

A little bit of smoke. A little bit of leather. Good wine for everyday, easy drinking. No blockbusters here. Just an average Cali Syrah. I'd like to try another vintage. I have an '05 Garys' Vineyard in the cellar. Looking forward to comparing the two...

Excellent wine! Decanted for 1 1/2 hours. Tried three different pairings. Broiled Lamb Chops, Dark Chocolate, and Cigars. Each brought out beautiful variations in the wine. Upon primary decanting, wine carried a strong fortified aroma (similar to port). However, after an hour, the nose moved very strongly towards black cherry. Palate is excellent with notes of black cherry, toast, and coffee. One of the best reds I've ever had- can't wait to open another one!
