Drukket av Zalto Burgund. Kjøpt på Blomquist auksjon. Luftet i 3 timer. Klassisk flott Nebbe duft, roser, tjære, lær. Fin balanse mellom frukt og tanniner. Noe modenhet, men ingen tertiære aromaer, har endel år å gå på (mest pga frukten). Bra lengde. Drikker den lett kjølig i glasset. Alkoholen på 14% ikke merkbar. Dette er en fantastisk god Barolo. Årgangen 99 leverer.

Cavallotto Barolo Riserva Vigna San Giuseppe 2004. Luftet 2 timer og drukket av Zalto Burgund. Nydelig duft av roser, tjære, klassisk Nebbe. Ganske avrundet tanniner til å begynne med, men ble mere intense etterhvert. Massiv frukt med Burgundiske undertoner. Lang ettersmak med bra struktur. Ingen sekundære aromaer og fremsto som ungdommelig. Veldig bra 2004, årgangen leverer. Dette blir bra! Elegant, om en kan kalle det en Barolo (Min første av 6 flasker) Neste flaske om 5 år.

Ikke luftet, rett i glasset (Zalto Burgund). Måtte teste etter noen dårlige erfaringer fra 2009 H. Boillot her på forumet. Ingen antydning til OX. Lett syrlig og perlende på tunga. Modene aromaer, smør, noe eik. Ganske kompleks, med lang ettersmak som sitter lenge. Nydelig vin og denne drikker veldig bra nå. Til torsk.

Castello di Neive Barbaresco Riserva Santo Stefano Riserva 2001. Nydelig moden Barbaresco. Herlig syre som bare lesker seg på tunga og lang ettersmak. Jordlig Nebbeduft med blomster. God lenge, bra struktur, noe sødme og ganske slepne tanniner. Dette er skikkelig godt, tror jeg gir 93p (kr. 475 for 10 år siden og min siste flaske) Og derfor lagrer vi viner fra Piemonte

Nydelig Nebbeduft fra Zalto Burgund, skogsbunn med duft av moreller/kirsebær. Veldig integrerte tanniner, medium syre og merker ikke 14.5% alkohol. Fyldig med runde tanniner og lang ettersmak. Referanse Barbera, kan ligge enda noen år. Sånn skal Barbera smake (men viktig å holde riktig temp). Nydelig vin. 91p. Godt jeg har flere i kjelleren. Veldig stilskifte med 2009 årgangen, leverte alle mine 09 tilbake......

Dobbelt dekantert i 2 timer.
Klassisk på duft, tjære, blomster, noe lær. Ganske intens. Vil ikke si den er moden i det hele tatt. Stramme tanniner som sitter i lenge. Relativ kjølig frukt, saftig og godt. Denne vil holde lenge! Knall Barolo! Har også X utgaven. Hadde vært moro å prøve de side om side. Til ost Emmental Gotthelf og salami Parmaigiano fra Maschmanns. 93-94p.

Lufta 30 min. Ganske lukket på duft til å begynne med, gir lite i munnen, ganske flat smakskurve. Noe smøraromaer, kan jeg lukte litt nøtter? Vil ikke si den fremstår som feit. Lett syrlig, men litt tam. OX? Nei, kan ikke si det, men har ikke mye erfaring med det. Burde nok vært luftet litt lenger (hadde ikke tid). Åpner seg i glasset etterhvert. God vin, men altfor fersk juice. Men hvorfor kjøpe dyr hvit burgunder som larger dårlig? Vil gå for rimeligere alternativer i fremtiden.Siste glasset nå etter 1 time,b edre, mere intens i munnen. Men ferskvare, måtte prøve for å sjekke ox.

Åpnet og rett i glasset. Den har stått oppreist noen dager. Veldig rødbrun i fargen. Intens duft av fjøs/lær, modne aromaer. Tørrende tanniner i munnen, noe syre, men ikke mye. Ikke mye frukt igjen, men slank og lang ettersmak. Dette er drikk nå. En utmerket eldre Bordeaux, dette liker vi. Drukket av Riedel Vinum XL. P 92/93.

Ikke luftet, men smakt i Zalto Burgund over noen timer. Kraftig nebbelukt i nesen med en gang, nydelig floral duft ettehvert. Lett rustig i munnen, litt fruktig med behaglige tanniner (har høy terskel for de) og balansert syre. Lang ettersmak. God basic Barolo, spent på hva San Guiseppe gir i samme årgang (den bør vel ligge noen år til). Syntes denne drikker veldig bra nå. 91-92 p.

Farge dyp rød mot sort. Skogsbunn som første duft, kjenner litt alkohol (15%) i munn. Lett syrlig, behagelige tanniner, rik og fruktig. Ikke altfor kompleks, men det skal ikke en Barbera være. Men alkoholen sitter i litt for lenge for min smak.

God moden Grand Cru. Masse smøraromaer på lukt og i munn, lang ettersmak. Lett syrlig for Duplessis å være. Fruktig og frisk.

Starting off well, good nice Rioja smell, dusty, earth, some vanilla. Almost no tannins. Good in the mouth at first, but fading away fast, thin. Over the topp now. Expected more from this wine.

Colour dark sherry, orange on the sides of the glass. I really like this bouquet. Lots of leather on the nose, dust, dark fruits. Some tannins and acidity. Good mature Bordeaux.

Ruby red, a little towards purple. A little mute too begin with, but with a little air smell of earth and black pepper, some smoke. Rich fruit, good acid. Balanced tannins. Feels good in the mouth. My last bottle 2004, so now I have too wait for 2006 and 2007 too mature a little more. Very good value St. Joseph.

Red in colour in the light side/orange. Decanted for 2 hours. Not too much smell on the nose, some smell of earth and dark fruits, some leather. Very good quality tannins. Long and lasting aftertaste. Still young, but very enjoyable rigt now. Good I have more of this wine.

Decanted for 1 hour. Ruby red on the dark side, purple, in colour. Seems a little bit closed down, just some smell of earth. Better in the mouth, fine dark fruits, silky tannins. Think this will open up in the glass after a while. And it did.... more smell of leather, long lasting aftertaste, very enjoyable wine. But I will let my others bottles rest a few more years.

Ruby red on the light side. Some good acid and fruits. Not too tannic, well integrated. Short aftertaste, faded fast. Not very complex, maybe the vintage. Don't think this will get any better with time. Think my 2004 og 205 wines will be much better, in 10 years time :)

Dark ruby red. Good smell of earth and dark fruits, a little raw meat. More open now than last time. Decanted for 2 hours. Will improve with time. Noticable tannins, but not too hard, lasting aftertaste. Got better in the glass after 1 hour.

Very dark red in color. The first smell was of oak, too much. Some smell of smoke and earth, almost no fruits too speak of. Some tannins. Ok, but will not but again. Maybe it's the difficult year 2003.
