Amazing Chardonnay - what I noticed was the smoothness of this wine and the luxurious taste. Well worth the price.

very disappointing- This is supposed to be a 98 -100 point wine.
either this 2015 is not ready to drink now or decant it for a couple of days or the "pro" who rated it is not very good.

I used this wine for cooking a red mushroom sauce which was adequate for the price. Drinking some along with the simmering. Not bad for the price.

Very much on the oakey side which I like - in line with Rombauer. Nice rich flavor and body,

This wine is a Zin blend with 15% Petite Sirah and 5% Grenache. Which give it a deep ruby color. he body is medium/full. The wine has a full polished texture. The wine finishes well with little to no acidic taste.

We bought the last of the barrel from the 2009 (6 cases) and had it custom labeled. it is still as fantastic as it was 4 or 6 years ago when we first tasted it and bought as much as we could back then. Until we found out that they had a half barrel left and bought what they had left. Needless to say a few of our friend who have tasted this vintage want to buy some of our inventory. But no chance. we love it. For a Zin this is one of the best we have tasted -- and we have tasted a lot to find the best of the Zins. If you are a Zin lover -- The next best Zin is from Chase -- stay tuned as we give a review of this s we taste a few more of the various vintages. We bought the last of their 2014 vintage which is fantastic. AS a closing statement we are on a mission to continue to find the best of the Zins. What we have found they are secluded to very old small vineyards contained of ancient vines (150 + Yrs. old vines). Hard to find these days, but possible if you do your research,

Since I like the slightly more oakey / buttery Chards - this is a fantastic wine in that direction. I believe it is similar to Rombauer but to slightly elevated level.

This is a fantastic old (ancient) vine Zinfandel. If you can find it, it is worth the price. We bought the last 3 cases from the winery. Small production from a small vineyard. If you are a Zin lover you need to try any of their wines. Classic in its ruby color hints of white pepper spice while flavors of cassis and cherry and then the taste of lite chocolate comes through at the end.

this 2009 old vine Zin from Deerfield Ranch is probably one of the best zins we have ever tasted. Unfortunately we (supposedly) bought the last case. But understand there might be a barrel available as of last year. My wife has been searching for a comparable zin. On our last visit to wine country we were especially out to find the best Zin. We tasted about 15 different old vine zins, -- found may be a couple but none compared to this 2009 Garcia vineyard. if you have this wine please enjoy it as much as we do. Cheers.

This 2009 is fantastic -- a zin that is the best that I have had the pleasure to taste. This is my wife's favorite -- unfortunately we bought the last case (so I'm told). What sets this zin apart is the dark chocolate, hint of coffee and a overall smooth finish. I know Zins are not very expensive but with this we get to stun our dinner guests with a wow that they don't expect. Cheers!

I have had better Zins - but still not bad - just that it could have a deeper "wow" Zin type berry note.

Not bad for a twist off cap. Robert Rex's winery does a very good job of offering "clean wines" (little as possible sulfites) which my wife likes because of no after drinking. Still, a very good every day wine.

An excellence Chardonnay with the right amount of oakeyness (if that's a word) very smooth through to the finish.

This 2202 vintage is fantastic. Let it breath about 3 hours and it opens up dramatically. The wine is deep ruby colored. There was light sediment in the bottle. It smells like a bounty of fruit but black berry and currant (cassis) come to mind. The body is medium/full. The wine has a silky texture which finishes long. Truly a very good meritage.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. This 2010 vintage has gotten better with age and I opened it 3 hours before serving. A good price point made it a surprise.

A great everyday red that has no down side and is a "clean wine" (no head aches).
The wine looks ruby colored , fruit forward, full bodied but smooth.

3013 is a fantastic year for Napa wines. And this blend is still young but is ever so good. I can't wait for it to mature over the next few years to its full potential. I have verticals dating back to 2008 and this is a good as it gets.

In an email (dated 12/31/15) from the winery Robert Parker has rated this 2013 at 100 points. How do we confirm this?

this is a classic (old school) California chardonnay smooth with a rich, oaky and buttery flavor. The fruit is deep but not over bearing. I like it a lot

This is a very good blend and is very smooth and nice on the back of the plate. For the price it is a great value as compared to the finest blends of Napa.

Twist off cap -- not withstanding -- very immature as compared to other 90 pt. rated Pinot Noir's. should be compare to others in their price range because this didn't live up to expectations. It maybe young, but it has a bitter harsh back taste not as smooth across the mouth as other good 90 pt. Pinots. Just my 2 cents worth.
