4/18/19, 12:52 PM - Your commenting under the wrong wine. This is the Cabernet, not the Investor blend you had

What makes a good tasting wine?? Super interesting range of comments on this wine depending on one’s style and preference - fruit forward big vs dry balanced elegant. Can both perspectives be right and just depend on flavor profile preference or does a great wine only need to be the latter??? I think both can age and both can last a long time in the mouth. Thoughts?

5/25/18, 3:56 PM - It's all in the taste of the beholder. That's why I rely on CT. I find folks that have the same flavor profile as me and discover great wines! To me, this is fruit forward, but by no means a fruit-bomb. It has the structure and support to age well, but it's delicious now!

A nice wine from Total Wine. This will find a place in my cellar as a Tuesday night wine.

At a recent tasting with Mike Smith in Boca and this was the most surprising wine of the night. Reminded me of a barrel sample of ToKalon. Probably the most indulgent and intense cabernet I have tasted. Full bodied, subtle creamy tannins, ripe fruit, vanilla, cotton candy, with a touch of oak, maybe a bit over the top. My wife would love this wine. Looking forward to trying again and hearing others thoughts.
