2008 Domaine Serene Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvée Willamette Valley

This wine is aging nicely. Though it is definitely the most "un-Serene" of the wines they produced in '08, its simplicity is what makes it so good. Light-to-medium bodied, bright acidity and lots of fresh red fruit on the palate. Easy to pair with lighter foods or simply enjoy on its own.

3/29/20, 7:05 PM - You’ve got some lucky friends! I think the ‘08 Yamhill Cuvée is still drinking well. For what it’s worth, I am still drinking my ‘06 Domaine Serenes and they’re all doing well. ‘08 was perfectly balanced year (one of the best for growing Pinot Noir in Oregon in recent memory) so hand out those gifts with confidence. As long as you’ve cellared them well, I think you’re going to be fine. I’m quite jealous of your friends.
