Good, but beyond its peak.
Initially a sour smell, but that was gone after 10 minutes. No sour taste at all. Instead some cranberrys and strawberries. A little leftover acidity keeps it fresh, a little wet leaves in the beackground. Tannins are pretty much gone. Best one hour after opening.

Opened the bottle on 4 days ago, smell of sausage, unpleasant sweetness. Very dark in color.

Today tried it again and gone are those bad flavors. Nice and pleasant, but I think there is no reason to wait any longer.
My point rating is for today.

Just opened the third bottle of this.

August 2012: Fruitbomb. Somewhat tannic.
October 2012: Flat and closed down.
September 2013, today, what a wine! Absolutely great! Still lots of fruit, but at the same time elegance, opulence and concentrated. Deep dark fruits. Still a few tannins, but rather smooth, almost silky.
Great!

2010 Château Plaisance (Montagne-St. Emilion) Montagne-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
I like the 2010 better than 2009 so far. The 2010 has a bit more fruit, yet has a certain edge that makes it interesting. Maybe a bit early to put a clear score on this, certainly will improve.

Totally liked it. Dry, almost a bit bitter. Refreshing. Fruit. Occasional hints of slight sweetness. This is my first 2009 Chianti. Either this vintage is really good, or this wine is really great. Buy more.

Clearly better than the last bottle. Intensive Blackcurrant and vanilla pudding. Rather shortish finish.

The 2002 Le Puch is a little bit less concentrated compared to the 2006 Roumieu Haut Placey, but overall very good at this price level. Sweet, fruity. Has acidity, but could be a bit more for my taste. Overall pleasant. Just bought the last bottle remaining in the shop :)

Has good sweetness, has some acidity, but totally missing the fruitiness. Instead a taste of ash or burned something. Finish is rather short for a Sauternes. Just drinkable, but I wouldn't buy more of it.

I tasted the 2007 vintage on 3 occasions last year and this year. All I can say I outright dislike it. Tastes unpleasant. Unfortunately I still have one bottle in my cellar.

After 1 year in the cellar I open this 2009 Turning Leaf Merlot bottle to compare it to a 12 € 2008 Château Plaisance Merlot. The Bordeaux wins hands down. Yet the Turning Leaf Merlot is not that bad. A bit on the sweet side, okay fruitiness, short finish, slight hint of oak, somewhat concentrated. One of the better choices at the 5 Euro price point. Might mix well with coke.

High acidity, fresh, fruity, midum to long finish. A little bit of oak. Like it very much.

fruit can still be smelled, but there is not that much fruit left when tasting. A lot of oak and smooth taste. Medium finish. Has some life left, but should drink now.

My first tasting note on CT ;)
A great wine, maybe a little bit to sweet, different fruity notes, apricot was noticeable. Pleasant to drink, alcohol was barely noticeable. The good taste remained in the mouth even half an hour after drinking. Felt very fresh, can definitely be stored for a decade or so. Bought all 4 remaining bottles from my local wine shop.
I don't want to add a score now, because of my little wine experience. Worth buying.
