Complex and dynamic... Definitely worthy of cellar time but worthy now too. Nice long finish

Tasting like it has peaked. Starts nice with a leathery old world feel, then mid feels like it needs a bit more fruit or something folled by a killer long lasting finish with olive and cali soil.

Nice wine with dark, earthy notes that seem very much stags leap. Nice bottle for under 20.

Brilliant sparkling wine, starts floral, then a nice sweet fruit or honey and then a dry finish.

Hold on for longer, it's still too young

Surprisingly good. Nice earthy flavors... They don't last and it is a bit simplistic but it is enjoyable

Dry with nice acidity and pear/apricot notes... Felt like it needed just a bit more pop to be special

Dark berries and cassis... A bit rough, but more likable bad boy than offensive. It's nice

Beautiful wine with great fruit and a nice vanilla mid flavor and a soft finish that lasts. A lower score if you want a classical Petite Sirah - I'm not sure I could have recognized this in a blind tasting but it is a fantastic wine and I'm looking for more of this.

Well past its useful life. No fruit, no leathery old wine taste, really nothing to offer.

I'm just getting into Pinot but this one bottle is completely changing me... Enjoyed with a cherry compote on salmon and the strawberry rhubarb from folk machine was working over time, long finish, nice soft balance- enough minerality to be interesting. I need more if this.

Enjoyed along with a 16 hour BBQ pulled pork. This is a great wine with thick blueberry jammy flavor that pairs well with BBQ.

Great wine that holds up to spicy foods. Inky and spicy itself, big and bold.

Strong vanilla for a zin, but I still really liked it. Loosing fruit and probably past prime but I never get tired of jammy zins - and this one is still jammy

Initial dark fruits give way to herbs and a nice smooth, balanced finish. This is bargain of a wine that I am sure would show up wellin a double blind with wines twice it's price. Pnp with a beef burgundy. Have another half case that I planned to save for a decade but I am not sure it will make it. Drinks well now and may get a bit better but not showing the harshness I was expecting.

Starts floral and then tangy with a long finish. Wish more pinot's were like this. Yummy!

Glad I'm drinking at my parents house as we'll have to throw out the glass from this ink monster. Nice licorice, dark berries and well balanced.

Great nose of dark fruit. Taste is nice but not as impressive as the nose. Dark fruit is too strong and fades too fast. Nice wine, but seems like it could be much more.

Seemed a bit hot after decanting for an hour, less so after 3. nice enough finish but seems to lack something... a notch before great.

Opens slowly to a nice, balanced mineral start. Lack of strong fruit may indicate it's past it's prime. Long finish with a unique, but strong olive flavor.
