fizzy and maybe going through a secondary fermentation. Definitely not drinkable

Volatile alcohol on the nose. Overly strong alcohol, strong fighting flavors on the palate, flabby.

7/4/14, 10:38 AM - With the previous 1776's there was no problem drinking young and aging more than a few years isn't a good idea given the high alcohol content and the level of acid (according to Dennis De La Montanya), so we were quite disappointed when we opened this one since we liked the previous vintages. It could still be going through some extra reactions after bottling and may settle down, but I am not hopeful unfortunately.
