Disclosure: I don't love CA Chards , a matter of personal preference. But drinking this bottle with Russell Bevan was so special. Fell in love with it on first whif- white flowers (gardenias)strong minerality. On the pallate, pineapple, pink grapefruit, lychee, pink Himalayan salt, taffy, a perfect score!

Only after 4 hours aeration in the bottle, wine opened up and it was singing!
Tons of red fruit, strawberries, pomegranate, Raspberry, some cola, muted tannins, some eucaliptos. Excellent if you can find it.

one of very few wines I ever rated 100 points. This wine is sublime now, and will continue to evolve for the next 10-15 years. such harmonious, rounded and luscious tastes of black berries, dark plums, kirsch, pine straws. this wine will seduce you or anyone you want to seduce!

this is a huge wine, dark, dense, full of berry and plums, spice box, soft chalk, pleasant tannin. drink now after 2-3 hours decant, or hold for a few decades.

Dry cherries, Santa rosa plums, licorice, Cab is overpowering the Tempranillo, but in a good way. It's a nice wine which could benefit from more decanting and cellaring.

We Coravin this wine as part of a wine tasting dinner, so naturally did not aerate, but it wasn't necessary. Tasted great, very much a right bank wine, with strong notes of dark fruits, blackberries and plumbs with a certain aroma of pine straws. it is definitely at its prime now, not sure if it will improve with additional cellaring.

Opened this bottle on my birthday. aerated into a decanter for an hour, then left the bottle open for another hour, while finishing the excellent Realm Fidelio.
for such a young wine to shine immediately so brightly, you know it was made from the best grapes by an excellent wine maker. the grapes come from the 9 suns parcel on Prichard Hill. It has an amazing floral nose, that seduces you: "taste me, taste me". on the palate it has delicate tannins, dry cherries, plums, just Lucius fruits. i want to taste this again in 10 years when i believe it will peak.

this wine is ridiculously great, and possibly the best SB i have tasted all year. if you are lucky enough to find it (it is rare and pricey at $60 for mailing list), you would have a wonderful, fragrant bouquet of figs, grapefruits, and minerals. on the pallet, in addition, there is a pleasant acidity which is perfect when paired with seafood or spicy Asian food.
