Not a great bottle for $27. Not much on the nose and short finish.

Not much of a nose, and the finish is short, but it's easy-drinking without being sweet. It seems to strike a balance between old world and new world. Can be enjoyed with or without food. Great QPR at $15.

Unpleasant nose. Nothing special. Plenty of better choices at this price point.

2005 Château de Pressac St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
This is not ready to drink yet. No amount of air time that I gave it seemed to help. It's so astringent that it's very unpleasant. Hard to believe that this is a right bank Bordeaux.

Would be a very good wine and good QPR, but it's over-oaked.

It is NW in style but still a pleasant, crowd-pleasing wine. B

Too much oak for me, but a nice wine for $15. Fruity, but a decent balance of old world/ new world.

Popped and poured. It seems to strike a nice balance between OW and NW styles.

Astringent! Even after 6 hours of air, this was still harsh.

Excellent QPR. Crowd-pleasing everyday-drinking wine. Great pinot nior, but decant it for at least 30 min.

Compared to the 2008 Clos des Pape CdP, this was barely okay. Thin, uninteresting, but it is only $40. Would not buy again.

This wine is an amazing value at about $10. New world, so it's a bit sweet.

Decanted for an hour and it was OK - put it back into the bottle and drank the next day - it was a solid "very good".
