Tasting: Agree with NOSTRABACCHUS below.

I am subjectively rating this high. Taste, perfume, feeling is close to perfect for me. Somehow it hits a nerve inside me which makes me absolutely fall for this wine. Close to tears.

I had maybe only one other Barolo on this level, beeing Domenico Clericos 2006. But I will not compare them.

Oh... and my wife hated it.

No formal tasting note.
But it all comes together now, 6 years after the grapes were harvested. Minerals, fruits, acids. I love it at this points then the acids are still sharp.

Really dark and inkish colour. Would maybe guess malbec from just looking at it.
Full bodied but not too heavy taste with lots of berries, cherries and darker tones. Good match to heavy food, stews, meat.

Much heavier than normal spätburgunder from this area. Full bodied and quite complex.

Lacking tasting notes.
But a good but quite simple, fruit-forward cabernet.

Tried it together with the 2014 vintage.
Nose: Floral and citrus.
Taste: Green apples, citrus including a bit of grapefruit. Light to medium body. A bit more dense and packed with taste compared to 2014.

Hmm... It is loosing it acids but not gaining much. A bit of sweetness comes thorugh if it is not cold enough. I think i prefered it younger but still have enough bottles to follow this one a few more year. Still a delicious wine.

An everyday wine which is a bit confusing for me. According to the importer it is composed of Barbera, Merlot, Freisa, Dolcetto. It is light like a burgundy but does not have the finesse. Not much is happening. Light red fruits, good acidity but does not have a story to tell. Howeever goes well with simpler food like pizza for the weekdays.

Soft mousse that fills up the mouth. Like eating a cloud. The acidity is well integrated so no reason to cellar this for that reason. "Sweet lemons" in the aftertaste. Sure, this is very good or even excellent but I am abit underwhelmed. It feels flirty rather than elegant. Would have liked it better drier and a bit more acidity and crushed stones/minerality.

TASTE: Medium body, "dark" raspberry taste, liquirice, fresh, quite high acidity. Medium length aftertaste.

N: Paint, roses,
T: Grippy taste with lots of acids and tannins. Salty liquorice. A bit to the darker "chemical" style. Cant pick out much fruit och berries.

A serious wine which needs fat and protein. Terrible match to a tomato sallad. ;-) (I tried)

I got a feeling this wine is a bit too much influences by the grape-stones rather than the grape-skin.

N: Crushed stone, fresh cut grass
T: Green almost unripe apples, young and juicy, some slightly bitter minerals.

I had to check twice that it really was Müller-Thurgau in this bottle. It is the best version of this variety I have tried. It feels liek a "riesling light". A bit less fruit but vibrant and exciting.

Not decanted but drunk over two days with hours of time in glas.

NOSE: Multifaceted, changes with each sniff. Beautiful perfume. Floral. Some darker notes, liquirce. Very hard to pinpoint. Complex.

TASTE: Strong acids and tannins. Grippy. Complex taste with lots of cherry, sometimes there are a hint of sweetness in the cherries. Liquirice. Black tea. Rowanberries.
Taste seems too change with every sip and is very temperature dependent.

Outstanding wine. Positvely suprised because I expected more of a "bulldozer" but this is a close to perfect elegant Barolo but of course surely stuffed with acids and tannins and will improve even further.

Clerico uses less new oak from vintage 2005 and are also going towards a lighter toasting. At this young stage of Pajana 2006 you can taste the oak but it is not disturbing and will become even more integrated with time.

NOSE: Spices, juicy red fruits, strawberry, some oak.

TASTE: Light body with firm acidity, light fruits, spices (cinnamon, vanlilla). A slightly disturbing feeling that a large proportion of the notes comes from the oak. Short aftertaste. Light and very drinkable.

The only thing I can imagine becoming better is for the oak notes to step down a notch. Might be worth waiting a couple of years for but I don't think it will be a very significant change.

NOSE: One of the most expressful nebbiolonoses I have encountered. I would describe it as floral.

PALATE: High acids, medium+ tannins, medium body. Sour fruits, some biterness, well integrated oak. Rowanberries. The acids and sour fruits are hitting directly and stays for during a long aftertaste. Meanwhile there is a intresting and elegante taste of fruits and spices which are finely meshed and difficult to separate.

The excellent fruits and the acids makes this wine a special one.

NOSE: Herbs, red meat or whatever words you like to describe a typical syrah. Grape typical indeed.

PALATE: Dry, suprisingly(?) strong acids especially in the aftertaste, clean and tight fruits, firm tannins without being overwhelming.

At this stage an excellent (meat) wine. Could develop into being more elegant and interesting.

PALATE: Dry, medium acids, fruity and sourbitter taste with lime, grape. Looses the sharpness fast if it gets warmer.

Correct, light and dry riesling but not much going on. But anyway, a good wine!

NOSE: Medium+ nose with liquirice and flowers.

PALATE: Dry, strong acids, strong tannins, intensive flavour, ginger orange peel, leather, rowan berries, rosehip.

Excellent, barolo-elegance, needs fat food / cheese and in this young age lots of air, 24 hours doesn't hurt. Cellar it for 3-7 years for best experience. Vintage 2008 was on about same level as this, 2009 was not even close.

A bit hazy ruby colour.

NOSE: Medium- intensity nose with spices, redcurrant and raspberry.
PALATE: Dry, medium+ acidity, medium- tannins, medium- alcohol, light body, medium flavour intensity with red berries (cherry, raspberry, redcurrant). A slight hint of oak, tobacco and spices. Lovely medium length finish.

Very good, drinks well now but could benefit from further age.

Excellent due to elegancy and length. Young, but not too young. It is a type of wine I prefer drinking while the acids are high and matches the fruitpalate.

Fruity sweet nose.

Since it is a Kabinett it should have some sweetness in the taste. However, I find this one far too sweet for a Kabinett and that it does not have the acids or alcohol (8%) to play with the sweetness. In my opinion the fermantation was stopped too early.

I love this expression of pinot noir.

Wonderful elegant nose

Very fruity, elegant and long. After enjoying the taste for 30+ secs I directly want to take another sip. Drink friendly. Some acid in the aftertaste (positive) Despite its young age it already feels grown up.

Light coloured.
Dry smell, leather, tobacco.
Distinct traditional wine. With a thin but firm body without any wide hips and bold fruits. Very firm, dry and serious like an old dusty book. This is a traditional wine which does not try adapt to what the world is asking for. On the downside: a bit one dimensional and very short after taste.

Need decantation or 30 min in glas at this point.
If you serve it cold, wait for it to come up to at least 12 degrees where te flavours really come out.

The smell goes from citrus to just minerals as it gets warmer.

Fully loaded with fruits and acid. 30 secs + finish.

A beautiful win, a bit "unclear" and bright red.
It is steaming with a flowery and fruity nose. Just a hint of cedar wood.
A young fresh taste of pure fruitness balanced with firm acids. A tiny bit of tannins, but this is a frut-forward wine.
I think this one has enough fruit and acid to benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring to present some interesting mature aromas.
