Perhaps the bottle was flawed or cooked (purchased and consumed in St Lucia), but I did not share the positive opinions the others posted here. I found it very unpleasing, virtually undrinkable. My wife shared the opinion and we easily agreed to pour it out.

    I couldn't agree more. However, there were no signs of damage or high heat experienced with the bottle, so the "cooked" possibility was purely speculation. That is why I didn't mark the bottle as damaged and continued to rate it. The one fact that held true was our opinion of the wine, which is why we still rated it.

    In the end, it is only our opinion. You are free to ignore it.
