It had good ripened fruit flavors. Nice depth. Could not stop drinking it, until it was gone. Wanted another.

Beautiful, round, full, deep cabernet. Hard to beat with a steak. I loved it. Wish I had more. Enjoy!!

10/30/20, 9:00 AM - It was a lovely companion to a medium rare steak. Thanks.

Had with fresh Salmon. The wine was crisp and savory. A perfect match for dinner. I usually drink red but loved this.

A lovely bottle.

Better open it up well in advance. Even though it I supposedly at the end of its life, it took a good 2/12 hours to start opening up. After that, a little sweet flavors on the palate mixed with drying tannins. I think it has another couple of years as a result. Not bad, not great. But with air, it is ok.

5/30/15, 5:52 AM - I think you're right. I saw the drinking window here and thought it should be fully mature but upon opening, it was clear it needed time. Set it aside and drank another until the end of the evening, then went back to it and had calmed down and had that nice sweet Bordeaux fruit. I think the comment is absolutely correct. It has several more years on it. Alas, it was my only bottle.

I am quite familiar with that unpleasant dill note in bottles of this wine. In fact, it was the dominant note in the last bottle I had about two years ago.But when I opened one up tonight, that was gone entirely. The wine remains a bit light but is pleasant nevertheless. Nothing profound but not the undrinkable pickle flavors of an earlier bottle. THe wine is losing weight and depth however so I would drink up.

3/2/14, 11:15 AM - Yeah it was a first for me too, though as I noted, it was gone when I opened the last bottle in 2011. I have no idea what would cause that. Perhaps someone can tell us.
