Young deep purple color strong aroma's of dark berries. excellent initial taste of blackberry - good structure and velvet tannins with a long finish. This is a beautiful full bodied yet refined bordeaux which finishes with layers of sweet and juicy berries. Obviously will be better with a few more years but i'm very happy to be drinking it now.

fresh ripe aroma but hard to get too many flavours maybe weak strawberry, subtle however with a nice finish. A very easy to drink Pinot but overpriced.

Decanted for 2 hours, very tight cork which looked as though it was bottled yesterday. Ruby garnet in color with an aroma of chocolate and plum. I did not find too full-bodied, bit of mineral however more elegant like the 89 Mouton. A beautiful wine !

Dark core , faint gamey savoury nose, faint gamey, leathery, savoury, vegetal, damp earth taste, no fruit - nothing much in this wine although it was easy to drink.

Too young at this stage but a lot to like about this wine which has a berry nose with a front palate of blackberries which unfortunately quickly disappears. Be great to drink in 2022.

Purchased in Nice, when opened the cork was wet to the top so was a little nervous considering I paid 400 Euro. Opened and left for 2 hours than decantered for 45 minutes. Was a garnet colour with a classic savory nose. However seemed to lack the full fruit I was expecting as still seemed to have high acid without any richness or enough fruit flavour. This wine is a lady, elegant and refined but lacked the punch to knock me out.

For a Chateau Mouton Rothschild , I was expecting better , so will keep searching for the Holy Grail.

Decanted 3 hours - still very alive for a 96 - nose of trodden strawberries , deep berry flavour front n back, incredible wine and vintage.

Opened for 2 hours balanced enough with a medium finish but could be any good Burgundy and disappointing for a Haut-Brion.

Deep crimson core with a lovely fresh yet ripeness on the nose, taste of cassis and earthy root veges. medium bodied - pure with really impressive flavours and fine tannins.
The wine looks Crimson colored.
The legs are Slow.

Incredible nose initially which intensified over the 3 hours it was decantered, and the hour we took to drink it. Full flavour across front/back/sides and the taste was pure class, elegant , tannins and berry flavour. A beautiful wine ! great but not exceptional.

Initial nose was flat however we left for 3 hours and flavour was excellent, light yet fairly intense with a mocha spice flavour.

Full flavoured little treat, consumed in seedy part of Hamburg in an old established Italian Restaurant run like Fawlty Towers.
Smelled of mocha and tasted of gamey n dark berries. Recommend drink now.

Delicious , probably overly biased as drank before NZ All Blacks won the world cup, however very impressed with the body and depth of flavour. I will recommend and purchase for further cellaring as believe that the wine would get better with say 5 years.

Had definitely peaked several years prior, however the wine was still extremely good and drank better than 2 French wines if the same vintage that were also consumed.
