Excellent QPR. Lots of aroma and deep flavor. Nothing complex, but great for combining with most dishes.

Considerably better than expected; more of a Pinot Noir flavor than Cabernet; while somewhat acidic upon opening it mellowed after a couple of hours. Medium garnet color, pinot aroma and flavor; acceptable finish. Not sure if I would have purchased this on my own, but it was a gift so the QPR was very acceptable.

Nothing complex, but with sufficient flavor and character to serve as an occasional vin ordinaire. Don't let the extremely low price unduly influence your opinion. It is actually a reasonably good value.

Deep purple color. Smell somewhat musty. The taste is deep with dense fruit and a long finish, but the overall impression of this wine is diminished by an underlying bitterness.

Very light color but with an incredible aroma of ripe fruit. Leaning toward a sensation of sweet at first taste but strengthening during the course of a meal. A light, pleasant accompaniment to bruschetta, antipasti, and italian meats. Everyone at the table enjoyed. Would purchase again.

Of all places, I found this at Whole Foods and it turned out to be an exceptional value. Deep garnet, pleasant nose, fruit forward, and a nice finish. If not particularly complex, it certainly is well worth the nine bucks.

Aroma is subdued, but the flavors are full of grenache and Rhone herbs. Somewhat rustic in comparison with its Coeur Quartus relative, but still worth a glass or two. This vintage is reaching its limit.

Drank at a restaurant; we opened it about an hour ahead but still this was not nearly sufficient. It remained extremely closed, and could have easily demanded another 3-4 hours in a carafe. Absolutely no nose, and the flavors were restricted. Despite the reported drinking window of 2007, onward, I would not recommend opening this wine for another five years or more. Tremendous potential, but not presently ready.

Deep young-wine purple. Candied fruit and plums in the smell. Intense flavors of dark fruit and a long finish are somewhat negated by the tannins and slight astringency. More time in the cellar would probably make this otherwise excellent Bordeaux blend more enjoyable.
