Fantastic wine. Big, bold, complex, layered and tasty. Worth the big bucks.
Everything I've had from Beckstoffer has been like gold - this is no exception. Gold Jerry! Gold!

Wow! Huge, complex, deep purple, with structure - red and black fruits and earthy flavors. Fantastic Cab. Decanted 4 hours before drinking. This wine was ready to drink after decanting, but it has a long future drinking window that will last well into the 2020's. Worth the money.

Amazing Cab. Rich, full bodied, with dark fruits, spice, oak, and chewy tannins. Still can age another 5 years but drinkable now. Day 2 was even better than Day 1 as it really opened up more overnight. Another great entry from Tor Kenward,

Very good Cab and nice value. Dare I say it tastes (and costs) like a poor man's Hillside Select, which is no insult.

Incredible wine. Super muscular but still very smooth and layered. Big flavors and deep purple color. Worth the money and patience. Still can age further another 10 years. Had with equally incredible aged prime bone-in filet mignons from Chicago.

Beautiful wine. I decanted and after 2 hours it was ready to roll. It has opened up and shows off great fruit, depth, and complexity. Worth the wait.

Very good Cabernet in an otherwise mediocre year for Napa. Decanted for 2 hours and it was good, but the wine was even better on Day 2 with more flavors present.

Super nice Super Tuscan - complex, balanced and full-bodied. Had with Veal Parm - delicious after PnP. Ready to drink now but can also age some more.

Super delicious - very smooth but a complex Cab with just a little bite at the end. This was the first wine I purchased from Amazon.com and it was well worth it, and it came in a very nice wine box. Beckstoffer wines at this price are not easy to find.

Very nice, quite fruity, great price. Consistently an excellent wine year in and year out. Australia makes nice wines.

Exceptional Cabernet. Full bodied and quite complex, loaded with flavors. Ready to drink now but can still age a long time. Worth the money I paid. Glad I have one more bottle left, which I will keep for several more years.

Smooth, fruity, and delicious. Great bargain for $40.00. Seems ready to drink now but probably has a few years left in its wheelhouse. Crowd pleaser.

Huge Cabernet, but ready to drink now and for several more years. Have been drinking Chappellet since my honeymoon, and then got a private tour of the winery back in '04. For this wine, I had it for my 17th wedding anniversary at Trattoria Romana where I had muscles with pesto sauce and then lobster tails oreganato. Loads of red fruit, spice and earth flavors. Long finish. Better on day 2. Worth the money...better than several flagship Cabs.

Nice wine for Thanksgiving. Its tough to find top quality Cali Cabs like this for less than $100.00, but this one fits the bill.

Great Cab for my birthday dinner at The Station House. Complex, refined and smooth, with a hint of heat and spice on the finish. Worth the money

Solid Pinot but just lacking that extra body, complexity and strength that makes a great wine. A little too high priced - should be closer to $30.00.

Decanted for 3 hours before drinking. Prototype Bordeaux with loads of terroir, including earth and graphite, as well as coffee, mushroom, oak, spice, and black cherries, all of which exude a richness and complexity that only comes with aging. Very nice wine. Ready to drink now but can last another 5-7 years.

What's there not to like? A very good Cali Cab for $40.00. That's very hard to find these days. It's ready now but can age several more years.

Great cab and great price considering what you get. If this were from California, it would cost double the price. This is consistently great year after year, as it is smooth as silk, delicious, complex with nice fruit. My mother said it was the best wine she's ever had. I still have the 2012 and 2013 to hold for a few years. The 2010 is ready to drink now and will last a good 5 more years.

One of my personal favorites, since I began drinking Chappellet back in the year 2000 during my honeymoon in Hawaii. This vintage does not disappoint and is consistent with past vintages. A good buy for a Cali Cab. Loaded with fruit along with oak and licorice flavors. Plenty of structure along with low acidity and smooth tannins. I popped and poured the first glass and decanted the rest. This can be had now or aged for 5-7 years. However, I decided to drink this now as I am saving my 2012 and 2013 Chappellet Pritchard Hills for the next decade.

Drank at our office party. This blew away the 2014 Caymus and was better than the 2004 Heitz Martha's Vineyard. Excellent wine. Was smooth, complex and layered. Will last for many years but can be drunk now with a nice 2 hour+ decant, like we did.

Great bargain from Costco for less than $40.00. Nice Brunello with good structure, tasting loads of red fruit, licorice, spice, and meat. Fine to drink now, but will keep another 2-3 good years. It took a little while to open up, but once it did, this was a nice wine.

Drank in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. Big wine. Took an extra day to cool off and loosen up. Once that happened, great things from this wine. Typical Cabernet flavors: Red and black fruits; spice; oak; licorice; and meat. This would cost much more if from California. This can age several more years. If you open now, decanting is a must.

Though 2011 was not a great year in Napa, this wine is still nice, though not a huge wine or what I consider amazing. It has oak, red fruit, cedar, spice, cinnamon and licorice flavors. Medium bodied. Drank over two days. Steep price for this one, esp. 2011, but it's solid nonetheless.

What a great deal for a California Cabernet. It's drinking great right now. Will last a few more years. Rich oak with smooth tannins nicely integrated into intense red fruit. Full bodied, good structure, and lengthy finish. Popped and poured without regret.

Steep price but smooth as silk after a short decant. Very nice bottle with red and black fruits, spice, oak, and licorice. Combination Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. This would probably cost close to double if from California. It can last a long time.

Silky smooth Cali Cabernet. Great wine, even in an off-vintage, though expensive at over $100. Red fruits and licorice, combined with oak and spice on the palate. Had with Italian food and decanted it for 2 hours. Then finished off the last glass the next day. Big wine with many years left, but approachable now.

Lots of heat and alcohol, even on the 2nd day. There are cherry and oak flavors but they get overrun by the heat. It may be better in 2-3 years.

I am very familiar with Chappellet after first having this 15 years ago at my honeymoon in Hawaii. Now on my anniversary, this vintage is as good as ever. Great Cali Cab especially at this price. Pop and poured. Red fruits, licorice, spice, and oak flavors. Very easy wine to enjoy.

Great value wine - you won't find this quality from California for this price very often. Rated very high by Wine Spectator. Though a very nice wine, not quite as amazing as advertised. Oak, spice, cherry flavors. Better on day 2. Good finish.
