Not sure if this is just too old; I was hoping for the best, but I couldn’t detect much pleasurable about this bottle. I do have another bottle - I’ll update this after trying that sometime soon.

1/5/19, 6:21 PM - Hi Frank - Happy New Year to you, and thanks for your comment. I went back and took another taste, and I think “stemmy” may be a good descriptor. Sorry, I’m afraid my abilities to describe what I’m tasting are somewhat limited. I’ve always struggled with copain because i feel there’s more subtlety to the wine than I prefer! Could I persuade you to taste this bottle and tell me what you think? It’s still “unopened” thanks to the miracle of Coravin, and I’d be happy to send it to you to try. I’d love your take on it so I can learn a little something! Let me know.

Disappointing - never came around much.

    1/26/13, 4:15 PM - Hi Frank -

Just noticed your note - sorry for the slow reply, but this is the first time it has happened! It shows the interactive side of Cellar Tracker which I see can be quite powerful. (It will be interesting to know if you see this comment, or if I should reply directly on your profile page?) Anyhow, we did decant for about 1 hr. We did feel the weight and alcohol you mention - but it wasn't all that pleasant. Thanks!
