Overpowering, acidic, Popped, and Poured so likely just too young. better day 2, but still with an effervesce finish. Will hold for 3+ years

Decanted 1.5 hours and still tight. White pepper, bing cherries, and leather. A bit veggie but coating and pleasant. Very young and promising.

Popped and Poured. The wine has a good structure but not ready to drink or requires time in the decanter. The tannins made it tight not releasing its potential. Lots of dark fruit and cassis. Medium-bodied with a pleasant finish. Paired well with Italian Sauage Ravioli. Hold for 2 years.

24 Hrs later - more approachable and held its structure well.

Rich gold in color. Grass, mint and lemon peel on the nose. Tastes of Metallic, honey, and a hint of citrus. Best served with food, but an excellent wine.

Enjoined with friends on NYE. Took min notes. Dark straw color and a beautiful nose of apricot, butterscotch, and lemon. High Acidity and lite bodied. I did not get much on the palate that was dominated by lemon with stone characteristics. This I found disappointing, but this is also my first experience with a WB aged for this length of time. Would appreciate others thoughts on aging and preparing WBs.

Enjoined with friends on NYE. Decanted 3+ hours. Did not take notes but I recall a dark maroon color and rich nose dominated by dark fruit. The tannins were strong enough to recommend more time in the bottle or a longer decant. My guess is another 2-3 years. Palate was also rich with a nice coating texture. Great Wine!

Decanted for 1 hour. Enjoyed along with a turkey lasagna. Deep notes of leather and dark fruits on the nose. Med tannins and acidity, but soft. Charred meat, blackberry, and leather come together on the palate for a wine drinking very well right now but will develop further over the next 5 years.

Enjoyed with friends and a porterhouse at KR Steak Bar Decant time was only 30 mins. From reading my previous notes. I say the leather and Chocolate are gone and new flavors are developing. The wine is still very soft and the finish is also lengthening.

Cedar and vanilla on the nose. Medium fruit but without distinction. Tannins are smooth a velvety med cherry with a lingering finish. Minimal secondary flavors, but the balance of tannins, acidity, and sugar make this a very pleasant experience.

PNP - This wine is a dark. Purple with a red glow. It has a lot going on the nose. Blackberry, white pepper, smoke, and oak. The palate is ripe with black plum and firm tannins. Long pleasant finish. This is a great wine for $s. I believe it will get a bit better with time.

Heavy oak vanilla and floral nose. Nice texture through the mid palate but fades to a bit of alcohol finish. The wine is soft and has some good characteristics milk choc and bright cherries. I drank without food but believe it would be drink well with red meat.

Nose of cedar, leather, and damp soil a bit of fruit, light cherry. Similar palate - light fruits, oak, floral - fades on the mid palate and the finish is lacking. Certainly enjoyable and recommended at that price point.

Decanted for 1.5 hours. Enjoyed with pork tenderloin Heavy blackberry, with a bit of floral nose. Fruit dominates the palate early. Vanilla and rich sweetness fades to a slight vegetal finish. High viscosity with medium acidity holds its structure.

Still needs time. More air time (2.5 hrs) improves the finish.

Popped and poured - nice wine. was gift but believe is a good everyday choice. $20ish. Washington Cab that has some softness to it. Nose has good depth floral, powder, and oak. The only downside is a tad of artificial sweetness on the finish.

P&P, great nose out of the bottle, dark coating fruits with a hint spice, nutmeg, cinnamon. The palate was very closed down, tight without releasing almost anything. Was disappointed until day 2 when the wine had time to reach current potential. Dark Choc and bright fruits very pleasant. Still young and should develop additional profiles.

Decanted for 30 mins. Nose has black jam and spice. A balanced palate acidity, tannins, fruit and oak all blend well together. The wine does not have a lot of depth and a med finish. Bottom line this is a nice Chainti for the price. Recommended

Decanted for 2 hours, began to drink ahead of filet and veggies. Super concentrated nose, blackberry, spicy plum, vanilla and a sweet floral component. At first the wine lacked depth. It was not that it was thin but there was little finish. The flavors just faded. After another hour, the wine was very soft, ready to be drank. Subtle fruit with a very nice powdery chocolate taste. This was at 3 hours. I think this wine has gotten better since the last bottle. I think it gets better still.
