Very nicely aged CdP. It was probably a bit on the downslope, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Felt a bit flat, but eventually opened up some. Looking forward to comparing to my second bottle of this to see if it was poor storage or simply just underwhelming.

Really, really enjoyed this. While it felt quite substantial, it was well-balanced and not overpowering. I look forward to a couple more of these.

This was in great shape. Enjoyed for a Valentine's dinner, this wine showed no signs of being over the hill. One more bottle left that I will try in a couple months.

Not drinkable. Not sure if it was poor storage (cork was dried out entirely and broke apart) or just simply missing the window, but it was gone.

Very impressed by this wine. I am less familiar with CdP blanc and was expecting something a bit more aggressive, but the balance here was phenomenal.

A truly excellent example of CdP. Enjoyed at Marea along with a 2006 Rayas Blanc. The som stated that this was their last bottle of the vintage. Well-received by all.

Still had some good life to it. A very solid, well-aged CdP. Classic CdP that isn't overpowering, but the traditional well-balanced Pegau approach. Cork was in terrific shape thankfully.

Best Pegau I've tried to date. Was 93/94 borderline, but given it's potential with age tie went higher. I look forward to trying remaining bottles over years to come.

Very nice mature CdP. This was a very solid wine that was well-integrated with age. Nothing spectacular, but held up well over two nights and is all you could ask for in a <$40 CdP.

Nothing terribly wrong with this, just noticeable alcohol content that detracted somewhat from what would have been an easy, weeknight drinker.

Very interesting white wine. I was recommended this producer by some friends who participated in a tasting session in Abruzzo. The sommelier was highly complimentary of this wine. Specific notes are tough to recall, however it was decidedly different than just about any white I've tried and definitely not in a bad way. I followed up with a '12 for comparison and that was nowhere near ready to drink, so I assume some aging of these is necessary.

Nice fresh, young wine. This wine would have likely been great with food given the nicely-balanced acidity.

Great bottle of wine. It likely would have been more highly-rated if I had the time to let it breath, but instead had to pop and pour.

Met expectations in a good way. Great QPR and probably one of the better weeknight drinking CdR's I've had in a while. This wine seems to maintain some balance despite the obvious effort to craft it to its fullest potential. This is definitely in contention for a case buy.

I found this to be a great example of classic CdP. It packed some power but in a way that was well-balanced. The fruit and acid were a good match for the overall power. Going to hold onto my last of these for a while longer as I could see this improving even more with some additional bottle age.

Had a glass over four separate nights. I wouldn't be surprised if that had another day or two in it. Not much prior experience with Chinon , but this was very enjoyable. Particularly after night 1 when it seemed to open up. I'd buy again.
