Deep Garnet. Full-bodied, a little green and some rough edges initially, with 15% alcohol well represented. Dark berries and plum. Plenty of tannin and bones for the future. Call it an outstanding pizza wine at this point.

Pale yellow. Pineapple and fresh citrus accompanied by sweet-tart Braeburn apples. Zero oak. Needs some time to open. Perhaps a little too much of niente.

Medium garnet. Vinturi decanted. Mushrooms and earthy on the nose. Some fallen-away micro fruit.

Ruby. Smoked candied apples. Lithe on the palate softened by the merlot. Menthol and mint on the finish bringing me back the Newports that I used to puff on. Most comparable bottles would be at twice this price point. A very good value.

Smoke dominates, clearing to reveal a full- bodied, somewhat cloying yet luscious Pinot Noir.

Out to dinner and was enjoyed by all. Did not exhibit the classic degree of Pegau funk.

Used Ah-So opener but cork was intact. Brief decant with significant sediment. Elegant, silky offering tertiary and cedar elements. Refined.

Lacking in most notable features, this bottle promises, via its rich ruby color, more than it delivers. Young and somewhat green, improved over an hour. Needs more time.

Decanted and shared over dinner with friends. Continued to open over two hours. Not bold but very balanced and delicious.

Dinner with friends. One hour decant. Multi-layered and voluptuous. An extraordinary finish.

Pale straw in the glass. Pineapple and citrus. First sip was pop rocks and zesty lime almost reaching an effervescent quality. Quite expressive with loads of depth, acid and character.

Cracked and poured. Ox blood. Delightful ripe fruit on the nose featuring cranberries and sweet cherries. Medium to full-bodied. Somewhat green and acidic. An unaccompanied youth that blossoms in the presence of a food escort.

In the new year's eve rotation. Best at opening but lost the majority of the beautiful fragrant nose rather quickly. Would not recommend much, if any, decanting.

Enjoyed this bottle at dinner with friends.

Silky, full-bodied and refined. Opened in the glass throughout the meal. Oak made an appearance then seemed to retreat. Wonderful.

A well-made and enjoyable bottle. Initially, dragged me through the garden. Later, greenery wrapped in vanilla with saline. Rounded and ready for a variety of food accompaniments or a delicious stand-alone.

Pale yellow. Sweet luscious pineapple nose. Needs food and cheese to round out the sappy/bitter finish. A disguised Gruener Veltliner.

But wait: This is Jacquere from Apres Mont, the reclusive mountain grape. So once back at base camp, put down the ice axe and pick up the fondue fork. At 12 U.S.D. there is much to like.
