Second magnum and both similar experiences. As noted by others, give it some air and it sings. Great QPR and crowd pleaser, that goes well with a variety of foods.

Best of the 4 bottles purchased. Drank the others too early. The tart/bitterness is gone and the red fruits shined on day one. This wine needed a few years of bottle age to develop and integrate. Better on day one. Solid.

Magnum. Opened 3 hours prior to serving and drank over the course of a few additional hours. Crowd pleaser. Well interstates wine with a long finish. Great balance of fruit and acidity. It gained depth as more time went by. Would purchase again.

It’s fine and a typical California cab. Nothing special or memorable. Too many other wines, WAY below this price point that are memorable!
White
Strange nose and taste. Life’s is too short. Poured down the drain

Enjoyable easy drinker. Screams California and a tad sweet, but who is complaining?

375ml before Valentine’s Day dinner. Love, love, lovely! Pun intended, but a really nice expression of Sancerre that has a beautiful nose and pleasant finish.

Aging gracefully and beautifully. Light crimson in the glass with aromas of spice and berries. The wine has a nice balance of that spice and berries and carries a long finish that coaxes you into that next sip…

Best and last bottle of the 6 pack purchased. The wine has fully integrated and is a good place. Nice color in the glass, with a defined clear ring at the top. Perfumed nose with hints of spice. Very smooth with nice balanced cherry flavors. Drank the other bottles way too soon. Good lesson/reminder for me.

5 hour decant. For 12 years old, this wine still has plenty of life left! Dark crimson in the glass and long longs. A little tight on PNP, but was singing 4-5 hours in and paired extremely well with tenderloin roast with mushrooms and blue cheese. Delicious!

375ml. Corked/turned. Second 375ml form same discount retailer that was massively flawed.

Long 4 hour decant. Light color on the glass, with sweet aromas of strawberry. Strawberry jam and a touch of earth and spice. Enjoyable alone and Paired well with Thanksgiving sides.

From magnum with 5 hour decant. Served before Thanksgiving dinner with a variety of appetizers and it was a big hit. With the additional air, it was rich and well balanced with a medium finish leather, tobacco and spice. Delicious

Completely different wine on day 2! PNP is tight, slightly bitter and short. Day 2 it turns into a full, rich, flavorful beauty, with a long delicious finish of raspberry and cranberry. So glad I drank on day 2!

Needs a good one hour decant and you will be rewarded. Sweet cherry and leather on the nose and a smooth long finish. I will let my 2019’s lay down for a good 5 years before entertaining.

I won’t rate, but this is either corked, nasty, strange or all of the above. Not sure what other reviewers see in this wine. Glad I only bought three on the Invino sales pitch.

It’s fine. I was hoping some air would coax something interesting out of it, but it just stayed straight in the middle of the road. Ok. Part if a previously purchased mystery case, that now makes sense…

Opened too soon. Needs time. Almost black in color with loads of dark fruits and tannins. Good acidity and will benefit from at least 5 more years in the bottle and a long decant afterwards. Hold

One of my favorite Washington blends. This one need a to be drunk on either day two or three. Really shines and shows it’s true colors (pun intended) on a very long decant or over a few days. Deep dark and handsome with a great balance of fruit, spice and character. Yum

There is no mistaking this for a cali zin! Needs a good decant or better yet, drink on day two. Classic pepper that is in balance with the fruit. Enjoyable.

Big fan and big wine. Lots going on here. Full bodied with out the heavy oak. Sweet, creamy and tropical. A joy on its own. Well done and a great QPR at $25.

Lots of bottle variation with the six pack I purchased. After the initial bottle that was opened too soon after shipping, for the most part they have been enjoyable, straightforward Cali Chards. Solid. This potential was muted and a short finish. Roulette wine!

It’s fine. Pop and pour lots of fruit but still plenty of oak, so maybe it needs more time to integrate. Middle of the road Napa Cab. Not bad, just not going to blow you away

Good and will only get better with bottle age. Just beginning to hit its drinking window with a good 30 min decant. Slight perfumed nose of flowers. Tar and hint of molasses in the finish.

Fine to serve to “California Chard” guests. Good amount of oak and a very short finish. Not much going on here. I’ll reassess the other bottles I pitched form LB later down to road and see if the oak integrates to make it somewhat interesting. Right now, nope.

With the new winemaker, this is better than the last few vintages. Best closer to room temperature, too. Medium bodied with tropical flavors of lemon, pineapple and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Delicious but

Good after a solid decant. Plenty of life left too. Not a fruit bomb and has a nice balance of fruit and acidity. Paired well with pizza.

It took a few years of bottle age, but it came around. much more well rounded now, although that sharp acidity still lingers in the background…

Great nose on the opening with fresh vibrant flavors of cherry and raspberry. After 4 hour decant paired with Thanksgiving giving dinner and honestly it didn’t live up to the initial experience. I had higher expectations upon opening and just loved the nose but it faded after a few hours.

Flat with no nose or anything going on. Tried over 2 days with same experience. I have one more bottle and will wait a few years to see if it makes a difference, but doubtful anything will change.

Yuck! Over extracted mess. One sip and all you can taste is the fake oak chips as if they were floating in the glass. Life is too short. Down the drain it went.

Additional 2 years of bottle time has really made a difference. Loads, I mean loads of cherry on the nose that transfers very nicely to the front and back end of the tasting experience. Very good example and reminder to myself to be patient and allow enough time in the bottle to do its thing. Hitting its stride/drinking window for sure.

Good not great. I was expecting more. I will wait longer on my other bottle. Drank over two days and better on day 2. Not much of a nose and at this point super restrained.
