My wife and I enjoyed this wonderful bottle of wine at one of our favorite steakhouse Eddie Merlot's. The wine was decanted for about 30 minutes before we begin to drink it. This is a full body wine that was deep purple in color with a scent of poison berry and hint of clove. The wine had a silky texture with a nice long finish.

I decanted the wine for about 4 hours. It opened up nicely it was smooth and ready to drink. The wine looks garnet in color with a hint of Rutherford dust that I have grown to expect from a Hewitt Cab. The wine also had hints of blackberry, black pepper, tobacco and light chocolate smell. This wine will age nicely over the next 10 years.

This is an outstanding wine with wonderful depth and very fully bodied. The aroma of blackberry and strawberry fill your glass as you enjoy this wine. It also has a wonderful long finish that keeps on giving. This wine is worth every penny that I paid for it.

We attended the Big Red Tasting at the DG Wine Shop and we discovered this very interesting wine from Neyen a blend of 80% Carmenere and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate the wine was very smooth with a hint of tobacco and soft tannins. This wine was very easy to drink with an excellent finish.

I decanted this outstanding bottle of wine for 2hrs before severing at a dinner party with friends. Altamura makes some of the best Cab’s in Napa and the 2009 doesn’t disappoint. The wine is striking, and rich refined, with ripe, blackberry, melted black licorice. I will recommend this wine to all my friends and family.

I decanted this wonderful bottle of wine for 2 hrs before drinking. This is a very fully bodied wine with very broad aromas. When you first sniff this wine you get a big hit of black pepper. After the first smell then some other wonderful aromas filed our noises blueberry, pomegranate, with a little hint of bitter chocolate. The wine is very intense but still very smooth with a nice long finish.

We enjoyed this wonderful bottle of wine at one of our favorite restaurants Eddie Merlot's along with my brother John his wife Rosa. This was the restaurants last bottle of the 2007 Relentless. This is a gorgeous wine, rip and very juicy, with black cherry and a hit of plum. This is a very big wine and needed time to open up to fully enjoy this outstanding bottle of wine. As always Shafer never disappoints.

The 2009 Old Vine from Turley is one of the most enjoyable bottles of wine in my cellar. This wine is very well structured; with outstanding balance it has a great backbone of acidity and tannins. It has a rich, layered flavor of plum and smoked pepper. I have 6 bottles of the Old Vine remaining in my cellar.

This is one of the bottles of wine I enjoyed with my family on Christmas Eve. I decanted this wine for about 2 hrs before serving with dinner. This Cab is rich, full-bodied and very well balanced. On the palate fruits that come forward are black currant with a hit of black cherry and oak. This wine also has a wonderful finish and is very long lasting. A must have in my cellar.

I decanted this wine for 2 hours before drinking. On this evening I poured 3 wines starting with an Oregon Pinot and finishing with a Napa Cab the Turtina was the second wine I poured, it was the star of the night. This wine is a Cab Blend that is 60% Cab, 24% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc, and 4% Malbec. This wine has multiple layers offering plum, currant, and dark chocolate flavors the come together very smoothly with a nice long finish. I would highly recommend this wine to anyone.

I decanted this wine for 1 hour before drinking. This wine is listed as a Cab but is more like a Bordeaux contains only 53% Cab, 19% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot and 9% Malbec. This wine has deep aromas of black fruits, chocolate, vanilla and cedar. This wine is a full-bodied blend with excellent balance of fruit and acidity and some grippy tannins on the finish. A must have for my cellar.

I decanted the wine for 1.5 hrs. We enjoyed this wine with a friend of our, whom is also a Pinot lover. This wine was as enjoyable as we thought it would be somewhat high in alcohol content which burned off as we enjoyed this Pinot. The wine had nice balance it was bright and rich with a Ruby color it had medium legs and it also had a nice long finish. This wine is going to be a stable in my cellar.
