Powerful zin with high alcohol. Definitely hot when the cork was first popped but some time in the glass and decanter softened it out. Nice spice and fruit flavors and a medium to long finish. Went very well with a roast pork dinner.

Smooth and soft tannins but.still powerful with a long finish. Opened on New Years Eve to go with the NY Strip Roast Dinner and paired wonderfully. Disappointed that n myself for not buying more when I had the chance when I first bought.

Tasted and bought at a wine tasting but theirs bottle didn’t have the same depth. It was OK wit a little lacking on length. Did use it to make the risotto that went with dinner and drank the rest for dinner. Would not purchase again.

Excellent wine with good acidity and well integrated tannins. Went outstanding with Grilled NY Strip Steak dinner and got better as the evening went on. Still has many years to go in the bottle.

Wonderfully balanced yet powerful wine. Even with 10 years of age, drinking like it is still young and had many years left in the bottle. Got better as the night went on. Drank 1/2 the bottle on first night. Poured the remaining 1/2 into a .375 ML bottle and used air remover stopper. Then opened that half bottle a week later and the wine was even better. Both times, ate with red meat. First night pan seared NY strip Steaks and 2nd time an eye of the round roast dinner. Went great both nights. Really wish I had purchased more than one bottle

Drinking wonderfully still 23 years later. Had the nose and taste of an older old world Bordeaux. Went wonderfully with a roast beef dinner.

Ok , but not great. Feel like I waited a little to long to open the bottle. Served with an eye of the round roast and went well but not quite as much fruit as I remembered when I first purchased at a tasting. Glad I opened it when I did as I don’t know how much more bottle ate it could have handled.

Wonderful wine that shows deep purple in the glass, fruity in the nose and flavors of plum and blackberry on the palette. Went wonderfully with tomato based American chop suey dinner and the wine for better and better as the evening went on and was even excellent sipping with out the food after dinner.

Nice Fruit on the nose (almost Jammy) With the same flavors on the palette. Light wine and very Juicy but I am not sure I taste much Cabernet. Very light finish but still a very nice every day drinking wine. I made the mistake of pairing it with a Grilled NY Strip Steak and was a little disappointed with the Match. Would pair with much lighter fair like Chicken or Pork. I'd be interested in finding out what the grape blend was for this.

Nice Dark fruit and some spice but not as powerful as the last bottle. Probable a little past it's drinking window but still went nicely with a meatloaf dinner.

Deep purple with spice and fruit on the nose. Poured in the glass 90 minutes prior to dinner and just got better during and after dinner (NY Strip Roast). A little hot when first opened but could tell the quality of the mountain fruit flavors. Great QPR and will let my other bottles age some.

Very nice wine but a little “tight” and needed to open up. Got better as the night moved on. Not as strong or big as their regular Howell MT or Affinity but at the price point a very nice wine. Will let my other two bottles age some in the bottle for a few years.

Great QPR. Nice fruit and good acidity and balance. A little vanilla and spice with a medium finish. Went really nicely with a Parmesan pork tenderloin dinner with a port wine sauce.

Used a bottle to make Barolo Braised Short Ribs over Risotto and drank the other bottle after a 2 hour decant. Went wonderfully with the dinner. Had nice cherry flavors, good acidity and balance with a medium finish. Actually was quite elegant. Nice wine for the price point.

Powerful yet also elegant. Deep purple with dark fruit although not over the top with slight hint of graphite, Vanilla and spice with a medium finish. Went well with a local cheese plate from Martha’s Vineyard including Cheddar. Decanted for an hour prior to eating and drinking leads me to believe it had many more years left in the bottle.

Not much going on on the nose. Dark purple and a little hot when first opened, but mellowed an hour later. In the mouth flavors of raisin, jammy fruit with good acidity. I chose specifically to drink with American Chop Suey dinner (pasta with tomato soup and sautéed onions and Hamburg) and it went nicely with this. Not a long finish but drinking well still. Recommend 30-60 minute decent still at this point.

Dark purple in the glass with dark jammy fruits on the nose and palette. Juicy Fruit forward with good acidity and balance and a short to medium finish. Definitely a nice “sipper ” and went extremely well with a Keilbasa and rice dinner as the fruitiness and white proper notes went well with the peppers and onions in the dish.

Decent wine with pineapple, green apple and pear on the nose. Bright acidity. Stone fruit and grassy notes on the palette with the apple and a medium finish. Used this to make Risotto to go along with a chicken cordon bleu dinner and paired nicely. Clean and crisp.

When first opened, was quite hot and needed to open up. An hour later and had wonderful dark fruit on the nose with jam and spice flavors on the palette. Dark purple in the glass. Good acidity and balance. Will save my other bottle for at least 5 years as this I feel will continue to evolve for 5-10 more years.

Wow. Bought at the winery in 2012 and layed the wine down until now. Had a Holiday prime rib and poured the glasses 90 minutes before the dinner was ready and it was outstanding. Powerful with good acidity and balance. Nice mountain fruit with some eucalyptus notes on the long finish. Now wish I had bought more. Can’t wait to open it’s big Brother. Since this was very good after almost 2 hours in the glass I believe it still has many years of drinkabilty left.

Nice Fruit and good balance. Not "too hot" but did get better with some aeration. Went surprisingly well with Thanksgiving Turkey and Ham.
