Arguably the greatest wine I’ve had the privilege of tasting. Tasted at a “place” in Tampa from a perfect collection. This bottle was so incredibly fresh and vibrant. 100 years old? Unreal doesn’t even describe it. What an absolute privilege.

Better on day 2. 3 hour decant, tannins didn’t feel integrated and tasted a bit metallic. Started showing promise after 6 hours or so and much better on day 2. Not my favorite showing.

Drank from 375ml. Young with a long life ahead, but very elegent. Beautiful wine.

Very underwhelming. No structure. No real depth. Decent table wine, but nothing I'll be running back to.

Drank at Harlan dinner with 10 other vintages. This was in the middle of the pack. Solid showing, but wasn't blown away.

Stunning tonight. 2011 Bard was in such a wonderful place. I need to backfill older vintages as these always show well, but tonight it was killer.

Continues to be one of, if not my favorite vintage of SF. Just an absolutely beautiful wine.

Just about perfect. The finish lasts for days. Incredible.

Wife's birth year at .Ink. Won't score this as it was more the experience than the contents. Still hanging on to life though.

Incredibly Young, but this is something special. Gave it an 8 hour decant. Singing. Letting my other bottles sleep for a while.

PnP- Bad idea. Much better on day 2. These still need a healthy decant. 94 points, but likely better if I gave it more time in decanter.

Past it's prime, but had a little life in there. Nothing mind blowing from this off vintage, but enjoyable. Drink up if you are still holding.

As good as you can get in a Liqueur. This stuff is addicting and rightfully so. It's delicious!

Not as good as the 2013, but had similar qualities. Going to give it until this summer until I open bottle #2 to see if she has opened up at all.

Leaving a point on the table in the event a few weeks of air make it even better. Fantastic.

Needs 6-8 and could be brilliant. That said, almost undrinkable for the few few hours and when it did open, the flavors were mysterious. Opened up beautifully after an extremely long decant but no where close to being ready at this stage. Needs time.

A bit tight to start but after an hour in the glass, this is really starting to open up. Dark ripe fruit, a bit of acid, spice and a bit of coffee. 91+, but giving it the benefit of the doubt as I think it will drink better on day 2.

Disappointing. Bad vintage, maybe. Past its drinking window, maybe. Overall, it was just boring and showed no complexity. Not bad by any means, but hardly memorable. Drink up, because there is no reason to hold any longer.

Odd right off the bat. Got a little better with air, but ultimately a disjointed bottle. May have been flawed.

Nothing special going on here. Drank over 3 days and appeared to start opening up day after day but not memorable.

A little musty and closed off from the start, but after an hour, its beauty shined through and became a great example of what this 89' should be. Will be able to go for another 20 years IMO and should sleep a bit longer or have a proper decant.

P&P. Having a single glass tonight. A little closed at the moment, but still can start to see the developing flavors coming together. Will wait until tomorrow to try again and report back.

Crowd pleaser, but happy to see these last 2 bottles go. I'm losing my taste for the fruit bomb cali pinots. Still a nice in your face Cali Pinot that pleases the masses though.

P&P- Cork split upon removal. A little weird at this point. Color of a PN with not much depth but I'm starting to get a little fruit on the finish. Going to come back to my notes in an hour or 2 to see if it opens up

Decanted 90 min. Pretty closed off but was showing its potential during hour 3. Glad I have a few more of these to age for a few years as I don't think these are quite ready yet but still a very delicious bottle of Merlot dominated Eagle

P&P through Vinturi. A bit closed off, but seems to be opening up a bit with some time. I'm going to come back to this tomorrow night, but still a solid showing. I always love drinking White Hawk Syrah.

P&P- Smelled of dirty socks on the first sip. 30 minutes later it evolved to dirty diapers. I have to imagine that this was a flawed bottle, if not, i'll throw it a whopping 65 points.

I challenge anyone to find a better QPR on a good bottle of Zin. I'm very impressed with how approachable this latest 2013 release is. Only problem I see is that I have but 1 bottle left.

I'm not much of a Tequila Aficionado but this is by far the best tequila I have ever had. No more tequila burning my throat as it goes down. This stuff is as smooth as I've ever tasted.

98 points as I imagine there is something better, but not that I have had to this point.
