Light and a tad "thin," but surprisingly not in a bad way.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis) and raspberry. It tastes like black currant (cassis), raspberry and gooseberry. The body is light. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

A good, no-nonsense table chard for everyday. Inexpensive, which is a bonus if your budget is very limited. Or even if it's not!

Always reliable. Smooth, lemony, refreshing and not expensive. We met it years ago and it's still right there among our favorite moderately priced chards!

Good, basic pinot noir. Very good price point -- you don't expect a "95"!

See my previous notes: white fruit - peaches?? - and citrus, especially lemon, medium body, minerals and very light oak, medium finish. One of our go-to chards from Sonoma. We like the style and the approach to wine-making.

This one is a reliable friend, always light and refreshing, in addition to drinking well with food. It's one of the first Sonoma wines we discovered and we keep going back for more! Light, white fruit and lemon, with a smooth mouth feel and medium finish.

Lunch with friends at our house - Linda decided we'd start with the Petite Sirah. Wow, were we glad! Dark red, with a lovely round texture. Nose of black berries. A pleasing mouthful of nicely balanced wine. Actually elegant, though delicate foods would probably get drowned out by its richness. I wanted to get more to drink and to cellar for a few years, but, alas, it was gone by the time I looked. Navarro Vineyards is seriously underrated. Not pricey enough? This was $25 through their club and they don't have wide distribution - perhaps by choice?

At first I thought this was kind of thin and blah. As it opened up, it became clear that it was different from the Sonoma Pinots we'd been drinking. Deep red, blackberries, smooth to the silky. Very nice!

"Ecb1456" nailed it. I don't have to describe this lovely cuvee, but I will say it's worth a repeat! Try others from Iron Horse too.

Deep red in color, lighter at top next to glass. Blackberry nose. Blackberries +& on tasting, smooth and light but not in a negative way. Agree with the person who said this is not typical of Sonoma pinots. Not as big and exuberant, but very good.

Lovely, light and one of our favorites from Iron Horse over the years. Not writing at the time of enjoying, so not commenting further. Still learning.
It smells a bit like good bread. Fresh. Small bubbles.

Very good and inexpensive white, enjoyed with lunch at a local restaurant. Medium yellow. Fresh white fruit - pear? - on the nose and on the palate. Smooth, medium-light body. We'll get it again, for sure.

A very nice, round, fruity Pinot from Goldeneye. We like their big California's; this one isn't as big and bold as some from their other vineyards. That's fine!

Nice basic chard with citrus nose and taste, crisp and refreshing. Not a lot of complexity, but I believe this is meant to be an inexpensive, friendly wine for sipping and enjoying on a regular basis.

Once again, Sonoma-Cutrer has produced a very nice chard from the Les Pierres blocks. Les Pierres is generally reliable, with lemon and butter balanced nicely with wet stone, minerals.

Better than the 2005 - or my taste has changed! Dry, lively and engaging. Iron Horse does a nice cuvee; the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley is a good place to do it. Had a while ago, so the details aren't there. But have it with anything you care to, except very heavy foods.

Love this consistently. Suggest that the drinking window should be longer, in the 3-5 year range, based on our experience and comments from community members when they've actually had some. Also, I applaud Navarro for producing this wine in the "Methode a l'ancienne". Excellent QPR.

- Light gold color with small pearls. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of apple and leesy with a light body. Bright texture with a medium finish - Pale yellow color. Many, many small, active bubbles that fizz when they break the surface. Apples on the nose, subtle. Green apples and - something else light - on the palate. A little sour, not unpleasant; yeasty. Acidity on the edges of the tongue mid-mouth with a little bump at the end of the palate. Not outstanding, but pleasant for sipping, maybe with cheeses, fruit, light fish. Good with the Mitica Carprichio with Green Pepper goat cheese we had. Wouldn't stand up to strong flavors.
