Good trial in new world winemaking using dried grape. Dark ruby colour. Fruity red berry, blackberry and cherry at nose and palate. Quite dominant with Malbec character. Straight forward and big fruity new world style. I couldn't detect much character of dried grapes. It lacked of the hints of raisin and rustic tannin like ordinary Italian Amarone so don't try to compare it with Amarone. It's totally different style. It's quite easy drinking. Great to pair with meat. Drink well pop and pour. Easy to serve. No need to age. Drink now.

Still not ready to drink. Tannin was young, solid and quite spicy that could irritate the drinking experience. It needed long time of breathing or decant to improve if drink now. It had a great rich earthy and herbal aroma as typical Bolgheri Cabernet Franc with good amount of french oak influence. Intense flavour of blackcurrant, blackberry and hint of chocolate. It has a lot of potential to grow for aging 10+ years more. Not recommend to drink now.

Good nose of fresh flower petal, tar, ripe red berry and light hint of game. Impressed by its purity and freshness. Classic style Barolo. Tannin was powerful and firm which was a great show from Bussia. Not particular aromatic. Still young to drink now. Can be aged for a few more years.

Quite oxidized bottle. Cloudy dark brown in colour. Strong nose of raisin, plum and herbs. Concentrated flavour of raisin, plum and cherry liquor matching with the nose. High and lingering acidity. Strong power from alcoholic heat. Big and bold body. Quite rustic tannin at finish. Good wine but in unpopular style. Not my cup of tea but rate objectively according to the wine quality.

Opened the 2nd bottle. Quite woody and toffee aroma. Bright sour raspberry flavour. The body was lighter than expected, consistent with my 1st bottle. Quite disappointed in terms of 904 because I tasted some great bottles of other vintages before.

With light earthy and herbal nose. The palate was full of juicy berry and cherry flavour. Quite straight forward and open fruitiness. Solid structure and firm tannin. Body was lighter than expected comparing to other rosso di montalcino. Easy drinking. Value for money. It's a happy wine.

It's a mature wine after 23 years of aging. The nose was highly complicated, consisting cigar box, leather, game, herbs, blackberry, earth. It's obviously cabernet sauvignon based. The tannin was still firm and solid. Very rigid and muscular structure. Deep and intense cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant flavour. Classic Italian rustic style.

From one of the top iconic classic Rioja wineries. Strong and intense oak influence from nose to palate. Developed complex aroma of vanilla, toffee, sour raspberry. High and powerful acidity. Body was OK but relatively weaker than expected, comparing to other vintages. Otherwise would rate higher.

A good Aussie shiraz viognier with good value. Aromatic blackcurrant, spices and pepper on nose. Ready to drink even pop and pour now. Very easy drink and soft texture. Slightly spicy and fruity blackcurrant taste at palate. Great for party or serve with most types of food. Too jammy for me.

Very solid and muscular pinot noir. Impressive body and structure at its price tier. Dense aroma of mineral, leather, tobacco and leaf on nose. Intense flavor of red berry and cherry. Tannin was slightly hard, woody and bitter. May soften and evolve in next few years but still nice to drink now. If you like structural pinot noir within limited budget, this one is highly recommended, from a famous German producer.

Pale golden yellow colour. The nose was full of honeysuckle, passion fruit ans some spices. Aromatic. The palate has some flavour of peach, passion fruit and white pepper-like spiciness. The acidity was low. Drink like a white wine produced from Southern France.

There's no any sign of declining over 50 years. The influence of mild and slow oxidation gives this wine some interesting characters. The aroma was a complex mixture of salty mineral, leather, soy sauce, black vinegar, sour plum, raisins, orange, ginger. The spectrum was very very wide, ranging from salty, sweet with great support of acidity. It's like an orchestra. Highly intense body. It resembles some premium quality Port or Recioto but it seems it's not fortified. Super interesting.

It's highly acidic and tannic at first with nose of herbs, ash, spices. It then opened up with some aroma of cherry, tar and bell pepper. Super high complexity. Rich mineral body. Acidity and tannin was at right level after a few hours and continued to support the backbone of the wine for a few days (I drank for a few days with re-cork). Solid, rustic, muscular structure with some good dark cherry flavour aftertaste. Well made wine.

A very well made entry level wine by this famous winery. Given that at its relatively low price, it already shows the great wine-making skill. The body was round well and integrated. Powerful attack was just as strong as some Barolo wines, then followed by some light red berry, cherry, herbal flavour. There're not many characters as expected but the body and structure were very impressive.

Popped and poured. Obvious herbs, bell pepper, mint, leather aroma on nose. Light earthy and meaty. The palate somehow contains the flavour of unripe fruit and leaves. Surprisingly fresh and herbal for this hot fruity vintage. Nice acidity. Unusual 2009 Bordeaux red. It would be great if you like herbal-driven wine, otherwise it's hardly to be appreciated. Rigid tannin and structure. It's not matured yet and will improve for 3+ years of aging.

Quite surprised by this unknown winery. The nose opened very well. It contains the aroma of perfume-like french oak, earthy, herbs and blackberry. Quite elegant. It did show Margaux terrior. Blind taste. Obvious giant structure. Nose of leather, violet, cherry and spices. Quite usual aroma of cabernet merlot blend super Tuscan. Solid and muscular body. Very integrated structure. Some oak influence. Many dark fruits flavor underneath. Overall had good balance. Tannin was undoubtedly young but I think it's OK to drink now. Of course it has the potential to grow during aging. Can cellar for 5-10 years.
