pinkish purple in color with light legs. An aroma of plum and vanilla. Light tannins. Overall a good wine to sip with our winter soup and sourdough bread.

Black plum and ripe dark cherries. It is not too heavy as some malbecs can be.
The wine looks ruby colored.

I had a bottle in the spring and it was tasty, but the wine seems to be more complex. It was wonderful with the lamb dinner.
Red
Licorice/anise back with decent tannins. Smoothed nicely second day.

The reserve is nice because the winemaker holds it before distributing, so it is ready to drink when we purchased it. I found the wine improved on the second day.

Tasted as part of Uncorked and Unwind virtual tasting. Benjamin Clark highlighted wines from the Piedmont area. Difficult to grow and not produced in great quantities and in many places. This wine gave a little bouquet elegance to a white wine with some minerality. Trying with a Spaghetti Carbonara.

There is a lot of complexity in the wine now and would probably benefit for a couple more years in the cellar. Drank with a Cabernet Sauvignon Riedel glass after trying the Pinot Noir and Rhone-style glass.
The body is medium/full. The wine finishes medium.

I originally had this wine at a virtual tasting (these work well when you pick up the wine ahead of time) on Zoom and purchased more after that because I was impressed. We were told in preparation for the tasting to open the wine early and that was good advice. When we tasted the day after, it seemed even better. I am not so good with points, but I would rate this wine as buy more, which I have.
