Excellent bottle. Tried against 2015 Moncuit Bdb, and this one was more balanced, longer, simply more of everything. Would buy again.

Decanted for 60 minutes. Super silky, long, excellent quality. Drinking very well (open for business), but I would wait 5 years since terciary aromas and flavors are just now starting to make themselves present.

WOTN. Decanted for an hour and this was fabulous. Great nose with typical Cab Franc herbal and violet nose plus some Italian herbs. On the palate this was smooth and elegant, medium bodied. I can't wait to open 5 more bottles in 2-5 years to see how they develop.

Simply fabulous. Tried it next to 1964 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Grünlack Spätlese. 55 year difference, but you could tell they were from the same vineyard.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Slight petrol nose, but overall this bottle was stunning. For 27 years, this bottle was still very much alive due to its great acidity. Happy to have 2 other bottles.

Incredible wine. As soon as I opened I knew it was special. Certainly mature, but so elegant. Tawny color in line with its 21 years. Nose of pomegranate, garrigue, funky. One the palate, smooth, very elegant, completely integrated. Notes of dark cherries, pomegranate, garrigue. Long. One of my top 5 wines of the year.

Wow wine. Fabulous nose that showed some development. The fruit was sweet. Long. Excellent wine. Tasted alongside the 2010 and the 2009 won by concensus.

Tight, even after two hours decant. Tasted along with 09. 09 was better this day (97 pts vs. 96). The nose and sweetness of the fruit in the 2009 was better. The 2010 had great structure and tannins, which in my opinion will help it be a better wine in 5-10 years.

Fully saturated cork and signs of seepage. Decanted for 2 hours. Gorgeous wine. In my opinion, it outperformed a 1999 Groffier Clos de Beze. It also over delivered above the regional "Bourgogne" classification - Village or low 1er Cru vineyard at least. You could tell that this has stem inclusion in the winemaking. Beautiful wine.

WOTN for some, not for me. Definitely had some development, but still could you a year or 2 more. It kept improving once in the glass, but was overshaddowed by a 2009 Leroy Bourgogne.

Extremely elegant, finesse. The acidity balances the sweetness so much so that this wine feels dry. Initial whiff of petrol that fades quickly, but then you get this elegant beauty of a wine.

Decanted aggressively for 9 hours - an needed it. Depth, concentration, length, it has it all. Initially very tannic, but through the decanting process this turned into a beauty that went extremely well with lamb.

Decanted for 2 hours and it took another 30 min in glass to begin to open up even more. Very good wine. Well integrated with minor terciary development, but in a good place. It will get better with another 3 years or so in bottle.

Wow! Wine has evolved since the last tasting. Gorgeous nose of dark cherries, licorice, and a touch of forest floor. On the palate this has everything - power, depth, complexity - and of course, it tastes delicious! I am glad I have 6 more.

Double decanted before serving. Even after that, it is better after 1 hour of decanting/drinking. Beautiful floral notes of peaches, white flowers, lemon, a little honey. Beautiful wines. Will improve with a couple years of age.

Wow! Ullage was suspect (1 inch), cork totally wet through, but the cap held everything sealed. Initially, dark bitter chocolate which opened up to a gorgeous cherry, leather, dark chocolate. The wine was silky smooth, it kept opening up and improving, and did not fade. One of the best Bordeaux I have ever had. Great birthday/birthyear wine! An incredibly, it still had lots of life (5-10 more years).
