This has an earthiness along with the red fruits and subtle quality like burgundy. This paired well with a Korean stir fry that contained mushrooms.

Super. Needs some time so I'll be holding my other bottles but had to get into one. Reminded me what I love about Pinot.

Dark inky purple in color, on the nose dark fruits, smoke. On the palate this is plush, dark fruits, smoke, coffee, and chocolate. Concentrated. Balanced. Sexy. Lingering finish that keeps you coming back for more. Years left but drinking stunningly now.

This is drinking really outstanding now and will only improve with more time. Young luscious fruit already integrated and lengthy finish. With time more layers and complexity likely as well as increased numbers 94-96.

PnP Wine was closed. It opened a slight amount over the next hour but I think the wine is just young at this point therefore unbalanced. It may come together given 2-3 more years. I will revisit it then.

I agree with the two most recent reviews. Good, but this wine is still a baby--wish I had of waited/held.

Bright ruby red with translucency around the edges, medium body, wonderful bouquet of tart cherries, on the palate, dark cherries, red fruits with youthful tannin present. Has structure and layering and is just a little young. Beautiful pinot that should only improve with time.

Light to medium crimson in color, great aromatics of dark fruit and pepper. More of the same on the palate with the red fruit brought out with the fat from a paired BLT. The acidity made it dance on the tongue with a lingering finish that kept me going back for more. Drinks well now, but I will hold my others for a couple-few years.

Transparent bright red in color, light bodied. Bright cherries and red fruits on nose with a touch of earthiness. On the palate was same red fruits, good acid and minerality. IMO drank like a very young pinot noir. Nice, light summer drinking red.

This was the 2nd bottle I've opened of the grenache gris. I liked it much better than the 1st bottle, I believe because I didn't go into it expecting it to taste like other grenache. It's a great light, fruity Summer red. Easy drinking with more interest than to fall into the category of 'not thinking'.

Dark, inky color, enticing nose, rich, smooth fruit with a toast oak layer that keeps drawing one back in for more. Drank beautifully. Still probably has 5+ years.

Wonderful fruit and wood on the nose with just a hint of tobacco. Enticing. Power balanced with elegance in the glass. I tasted, then decanted for 2+ hours with a quick taste at the hour mark. It paired beautifully with braised short ribs and continued showing nicely through the evening.

Dark purple in color. This is a big boy, with in your face aromatics, but on the palate balanced and drinking very nicely today. Will cellar for years more.

Another PnP here right off the truck. A great drinking Pinot at this price point. Young, bright red fruit but balanced as a Pinot should be with touch of earthiness. Easy pleasurable drinking. Drink now or hold.

Dark garnet in color, fabulous nose of earth/meat and spices. On the palate more earthy/meaty savory flavors full of spice over laying red fruit. Medium to full body with medium tannins. Long finish. Drinking fabulously now with many more great years ahead.

I decanted this wine close to two hours before tasting. Deep ruby in color, with both red and black fruits on the nose, balanced with spice and leather notes. Full bodied, with more red and black fruit on the palate, spices, finishing long with minerality. This wine will only improve with still a few more years in the cellar.

Beautiful, opulent wine. Pale gold in color, on the nose apricot and subtle note of apple, and vanilla. On the plate is wonderful minerality, and a touch of oak but very balanced with acidity. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel or as I said...pure opulence.

Very pale in color, light, refreshing. Hard to pinpoint the fruit, but the lack of oak is evident as it comes across much like an unoaked chard only not chard. Nice finish also with a lingering exotic tone.

Bright ruby in color, perfume and flowery on the nose, mid to full body, nice acidity. Cherries on the palate with noted tannins. This is a still very young Chianti with recommended 3 or more years left in the cellar.

This opened bright, good color, bright, nice cherry fruit on the nose, vibrant on palate, soft tanins, nice finish. After being opened for about 40 minutes it turned murky/cloudy and lost it's finish. Clearly past the peak window yet a wonderful wine none-the-less.

The 2009 was very enjoyable but not quite as stunning as the 2008. The 09 being lighter and less layered.

Dark garnet in color, plum and blackberries on nose, flat on the palate with low tannins, low acid. The wine is good but with no complexity to keep one coming back for more. Even at the good price I obtained it at, I probably would not revisit.
