Really good. Fruit emerged and you don't get any of the alcohol.

Hard to believe age, well made

Cork disintegrated- drinkable, but past its prime and falls apart quick after opening. I would stay away unless you are confident of provenance

Velvet smooth, fruit forward wine with nice terroir note finish. This wine is in prime time, imo. Didn't get the heat from alcohol mentioned in other notes.

Consistently good no matter vintage or blend. A go to dinner wine and drinks well above its pay grade. Can't wait to watch this mature. Approachable now with lengthy decant

Bought at Costco on whim. Just Ok, good structure and the attributes are there. That said it seemed a bit watered down. 05 was better for Bordeaux but for 50 bucks tough to go wrong.

Not sure this improves much

Drinking really well after 2 hour decant. Great balance between acidity, fruit, and terroir. Good mouthfeel and long finish. Plenty life ahead and will likely improve. Tough to go wrong

Drinking well with long decant. Thought window was closing so decided to drink. Was wrong, could go another 10 easy. Left in decanter overnight and day 2 was better.

Tart cherry- very acidic even after 90 minute decant. Then watery, little concentration. It could improve with time.

3 hour decant. Wine softens with air and the young attributes fade reveling a lush red berry forwardness tempered by cedar and graphite.

Probably best to hold unless you have time to let breathe. Good mouthfeel and well made. Picked up at Costco on whim.

Decanted about 90 minutes, really well made and layered. I'm a big fan of the Aussie style and the RWT series as well. To me this is some of the finest examples of Syrah/Shiraz available. A deep purple coloring, expressive bouquet, this wows right out of the bottle. Dense fruit easily transitions to more earthy terroir notes creating a wine the evolves brilliantly with air, and has the chops to go into the next decade. Drink now with decent decant or hold for the future. Patience should be rewarded as this will without a doubt improve

Really drinking well, with plenty left for years to come. Terroir hits you first with leather and tobacco. Then fruit comes out with a sour cherry transition into long red fruit finish. Coats mouth. It's fruit backward. Delightfully complex. Decanted 60 minutes.

Very good, black fruit forward then acidity makes smooth transition to terroir laden finish. It is light though and doesn't give the mouthfeel you would like for wine of this pedigree. Drink now.

Outstanding wine, drinking perfect. Great example of old world meeting new world. The fruit you expect from the Aussie style, balanced with Bordeaux like terroir flavors of cocoa, graphite, and tobacco.

Enjoyable, but better Aussie Shiraz available at this price. Jammy, fruit bomb with good mouthfeel and long finish. Drank along side 09 Rusden "black guts" which most in our group thought was better.

I love how Aussie Grenache ages. Great balance and complexity. Fruit has subdued a bit and a little hot at first, but heat fades quickly after an hour or so. Secondary notes of spice, cocoa and stone.

Drink now, but will keep for several more years in my opinion. Not sure it will benefit though.

Cherry, with a bit of astringency, but overall nice. Good wine but limited by vintage. Pedigree does show through and while I wouldn't stock my cellar with this, I enjoyed the wine

Really good. Needs long decant to really be appreciated now. This improves with time.

Fruit, acid, cocoa, graphite, pepper, repeat. Great complexity and distinct layers that keeps you guessing every sip.
