Yum! Still has great acidity and fruit, not tired in the slightest. Really good!

Was a hit with beef brisket dinner at Sharon’s house. We toasted to Scott who passed away 40 days earlier and loved Dariush. A total crowd pleaser and still drinking well! Cork broke upon opening. Otherwise an awesome experience.

Very good. Probably missed it's peak by just a little bit. Still very enjoyable though. Lacked a bit of fruit. Dry and mainly all secondary flavors now. Leathery and toasty with a little bit of cassis left.

This is the artisanal personal label (190cs) of Corey Beck, Coppola winemaker by day. Cork and bottle emitted aromas of apples and cinnamon after opening. Black olive nose in the glass. Very Dark and inky purple like petite sirah. Sweet plum, nice textured mouthfeel and super long finish. What I would want from a Napa Cab, but I'm more of an old world guy. Curious to see where this goes. Delicious and no food required.

Enticing nose of plum and black berries. Superbly easy drinking with lots of fruit, nice tannin/backbone and a very long finish. I wish I had more of these but alas this was my only bottle. Was a steal of a wine at $24 retail....should have bought a case!

Garnet colored. with medium legs. Aromas of Green Tea, Cinnamon cranberry and orange rind, flavors of cherry, forrest floor & nutmeg with nice acidity. The body is Light/Medium with a silky texture and finishes Long. Could be in the sweet-spot but no hurry to drink my other 3btls. Would make a nice Thanksgiving wine. Very enjoyable. I am sad that Larry and Shirlee Londer have called it quits and these wines will not be produced any more.

Was tight when I first pulled cork, bright, high acid with lots of earthy mushroom and a touch of old world stink. After 1 hr decant black olive added to dominating blackberry with a bit of tar on the finish. Really pretty decent wine, but I had low expectations. Could see this being better with a steak.

Part of high end blind Merlot tasting on Superbowl Sunday. 1 of 10 wines in competition. This was my entry and one of my least favorites (Blackstone CA was other and that was joke entry), best was Ridge Monte Bello for me. Too sweet/plummy for my tastes...might be good on pancakes though. High alc at 16.5%!

Pretty tightly wound, high acid with grenachy, cranberry/raspberry nose. those same red fruits with the addition of licorice, earth and pepper on the palate. With pretty big oak barrel tannins, that need a little more time in the cellar to integrate or a good long decanting in my opinion. I have 4 more of these and won't open the next bottle until at least a year or 2.

17% Alc (on the label - could mean it's really 18 or 19!) Sweet, syrupy, and port-like, did not like at all for Cabernet Sauvignon, if it was labelled as a Cab port I may have given it a higher score. We poured it out and opened a 2004 Turnbull Cabernet instead. If you serve this as a dessert wine you will probably enjoy it more.

Upon pulling the cork, the wine was very tight and showed very little fruit, after an hour or more of decanting it really started to shine. Nice bright reddish fruit, almost cherry-like Sangiovese quality combined with a touch of the darker plumb underneath, well integrated with the oak. A very nice wine, seems it could age several more years and without a doubt i would give it a decent decant (1 hour at least) before enjoyment.

Acidic, oaky and peppery, a bit lacking on primary fruit. Did not have with food and bet if I had it would have been much more enjoyable. Still not bad, just not great.

Eucalyptus and leather on the nose, with solid fruit of plum and dark cherry on the palate with a nice long finish. I'd say this wine is matured and at it's peak and if you have bottle, enjoy it soon. I am sure it will hold for a several more years but not benefit from further aging. Enjoy!
