Slightly oxidized. Cork must have been loose. It pushed into the bottle. Drinkable. Brick orange color. Very mature.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Pretty ruby red color. Fresh soft bright cherries on the palate. Soft delicate tannins. Slightly closed and disjointed but you can get a good idea that this will be great in the next 3-5 years. Short finish. Needs time to come together. Very young but still delicious.

This wine still surprises me. Very mature. Ready to drink. Still has plenty of fruit. Velvety and smooth. Little bit of tar and dirt in the mouth. Over the course of the evening it gets thin and slightly dull. Drink what you have. Cheers!!

Im giving this wine 90 for what it could have been. Took a long time for the nose and taste to come around. At first I thought it was cooked but then the funk left and bright cherries and cinnamon appeared. The color was sort of a copper. The fruit was definitely lacking.

Much better than the last couple bottles. Age did this Bordeaux justice. Meaty and chewy. Dark purple inky color. Gobs of dark berries, tar, dark chocolate. Nice firms tannins. I was very surprised and pleased.

Delightful. Bright, sweet cherries. New world taste and bouquet. This is what I expect out of a Sonoma Coast Pinot noir. Bit of spice on the finish. Drinking with pepper crusted beef tenderloins, au gratin potatoes and broccoli. Happy Mothers Day.

Day 1: closed. Not much going on
Day 2:dark beautiful color. Firm tannins. Long legs. Gobs of dark red and black fruits. Pencil shavings. Great price for a Bordeaux from this vintage. So glad I have another bottle. I will revisit in 3-5 years.

Lush and very firm tannins. Long slow legs. Oak is present but not overwhelming. Very young...maybe opened a year or two too early but has amazing potential to be a star. First drank this wine while I was at Fattoria Del Cerro and was impressed then. I highly recommend seeking this one out if you're new to vino nobile.

- Violet color with medium forming legs and aromas of rose and oak. It's balanced and has flavours of strawberry, raspberry and oak with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - Opened for about 30 minutes before drinking. Not decanted. Dark violet color. Nice notes of strawberry and raspberries. Heavy oak that mellowed out after an our in the glass. Drank with pepper crusted beef tenderloin.

My palate is learning to love this wine. The nose took a while to open up but when it did it smelled like fresh cut spring flowers. This is a very soft delicate wine. Strawberries and sweet honey on the palate. Medium finish and long legs. Still very young but very approachable. Ordered more and will cellar. Enjoyed with Godiva dark chocolate.

The heat is on! Purple color. Gobs of boysenberry and plum filling. Tannins are firm. Legs form nicely and stick to the glass. Tobacco and tar on a finish. Opened up nicely after 20 minutes in a big wine glass. Good effort by Foxen.
