I wish I bought a case of this. It is a well balanced wine, easy to drink now or in the short term. Fruity, dark, aromatic...I enjoyed in immensely

Volatile Acidity Issue - too bad as this is normally an excellent bottle - nose of nail polish remover and nothing on the palate

Blew away the 2005 Radio-Coteau Savoy that we had side bi side - ripe rich fruit, well-balanced, rich mouth-feel.

Very balanced with strong cherry component. Could use more time in bottle. Will try next bottle in a year.

Nose of vanilla coke. Delicious and well balanced, drinking well now but may also improve.
Red
Improved greatly since last bottle in January - added significant depth with flavors of tobacco and coffee coming in rather than the pure fruit shown in previous bottles
Red
Drank on a rainy night. This was a fun wine - when I tasted it I asked "is this zin and grenache???" It also has some petite sirah in it. Nice, easy drinking. Not overly complex, very fruit forward, in balance and tasty.

smooth and full bodies. ready to drink now. very enjoyable wine.

pulled out of the cellar, completely gratuitously, at the end of dinner. the wine was very raisiny. it did open up some as it warmed up, but overall, this was not my favorite of the Nadeau wines.
Red
Nice wine, although one dimentional. This is a good, easy to drink wine, with rich fruit, but lacks the complexity of other grenaches. Plus, given the price there are certainly better values out there.

Bought as part of the Zachy's flood sale for around $5 with shipping translated to $8 total for the bottle - quite nice - good fruit and acidity - not complex in the least but a nice inexpensive bottle.

Decanted for sediment (of which there was a lot) and air. Probably in the decanted for 2 hours before tasting (except for initial taste to make sure it was ok)

This wine is evolving nicely and showed beautifully. Pure vibrant fruit. Long finish - balanced with a dash of smoke, and earthiness but no funk at all. Very pure pinot.

93-94 points - the best showing by far of his wine to date.

Unbelievable value - lighting was not great but color was far lighter than expected - looked and tasted quite young with a long future ahead. About the sweetness level of a Spatlese (perhaps a borderline Auslese) - decent acids level prevented any flabiness -

Citrus notes, a dash of honey with minerality on the finish. Excellent and happy we have a couple more. I think the wine was enjoyed by all.

Tasted as part of Wino Depot's Tasting With Friends. Ruby in the glass, nice aromatic nose with red fruits, some plum as well and some wood and earthiness. Began quite nice on the palate but somewhat out of balance with the oak, tannina and fruit. There was a distinct stwed fruit note on the finish which was not my thing. 87-88 points, but disappointing as I have enjoyed this bottling much more previously.
Red
Pretty nice for the price. Quite earthy - decent finish.

Opened and drank immediately. Reddish purple in the glass. On the nose, oak, blueberries and plum. On the palate extremely well balanced, velvety, very long finish. Flavors of dark fruit and cherry, well integrated tanins.
Received this as a gift, would definitely buy again.

Oaky. Buttered popcorn flavors, not true to the varietal. Overall, a mediocre effort. Disappointing coming from this producer, as we normally enjoy their wines very much. I respect the fact that they experiment with different varietals, but this was not a winner.

Tasted as part of Wino Depot's Tasting With Friends for November: Quite dark in the glass. Fairly strong notes of jam, some clove, and dark fruits on the nose. Good concentration. The nose followed through on the palate with some earthiness showing through as well. A little out of balance on the finish and having what I call a rustic character. Showing none of the tartness I had noticed on an earlier bottle. Much improved. 89-90 points and a pretty good value for the $18.00 or so we spent on it.

Highly floral on the nose, full and balanced grenache blanc despite the high alcohol. Very nice effort, wish I had more.

definitly better with food (pici with lamb ragu),overall quite smoky. a little thin on the midpalate. generally, just not so enjoyable. would not buy again. without food, 86 points, with food 88-89.

Our 4th and final bottle of this wine - strong raspberry component - fresh fruit, decent acidity, alcohol was not showing. Only complaint is that is fairly simple
Red
somewhat hot - both on the nose and on the palate. This wine seemed a bit out of balance - much more so than the other wines from Carlisle.

This wine very much says it was made by Dave Corey! Unfiltered (and a bit cloudy) nice fruit flavors with some earthiness as well. It needs about 6 more months in bottle to come together. Will wait a little while before we open the next one.

this was not as good as the first bottle, Ari opened it, didn't like it and opened a renegade red instead. I thought it was OK - the fruit was somewhat muted and had a somewhat strange finish. Nothing overly offensive about this wine, but nothing too good either.

this is a really nice viognier- grapefruit and peach on the palate. Very well balanced. This vintage has significantly less alcohol than the 04 and it shows. Drinking very well now.

this is why I tend to not like central coast cabs - green pepper and herbal on both the nose and the palate. Not very well balanced. Overall, I would give it a not horrible or undrinkable - not a ringing endorsement.

a solid caberenet - in fact, the first central coast cab that i have liked. very well balanced, nice fruit forwardness. great job, Dave!

delicious - this wine is drinking very well right now. it is very well balanced, and seemed to benefit froma c ouple of hours in the decanter.

this definitely needs some time in the bottle - the structure is there for major improvement but right now it is a bit disjointed.

beautiful champagne. I wish we had more! Somewhat yeasty, with a floral nose and citrus on the palate. Incredibly well balanced.

given tous by dave, I was interested to try this... it was not at all like a spanish wine, which makes sense. It had some nic fruity characteristics - a bit of spice and overall was extremely well balanced.
Red
nice wine. more approachable than expected. earthy, full bodied, but not over the top.
Red
better than the first bottle of this we had- this one had no secondary fermentation. Very earthy, barnyard notes. Overall, enjoyable but I would not buy again.

Opened, this was the second replacement bottle for 2 prior corked/oxidized wines.

Third time is a try, no badly oxidized and corked again. We are giving up, no mas.

Very nice. Hints of lemon zest and green apples with some petrol and smokiness. A bit one dimensional and a bit weak on the finish. Overall a nice drinker though.

We decanted this for about 2 hours before dinner. It was quite good, although a bit heavier on the oak than the 03 Savoy, which I liked a little more than this one. Am interested to see how it develops with a little more bottle time.
White - Off-dry
drank with sushi - very slightly corked.

Got this to replace a corked cotes du rhone (La Garrigue). It was somewhat bitter with a strange finish. There is a little bit of fruit showing on the mid-palate, but other than that... thumbs down.
