Fortunately a clearance item. Very tart and sour. Definitely found the wine more acceptable with food than on its own.

Agree with others that this is a much better wine with food than alone. There are better chianti producers out there for the same price or less.

Not as smooth and balanced as other vintages. Noticeable higher heat and acidity than usual. Dark berry and leather. Not as aromatic either which is uncharacteristic for a Napa cab.

Excellent rich and elegant Cali cab! Impressively balanced with a medium/long finish.

Tart black fruit and slightly acidic after a one hour decant. Medium finish. Seemed to acquire a candy flavor with syrupy texture in the glass. Pleasant wine especially with holiday left overs.

Dark purple with a medium/full weight and medium finish. Found it to have a more pronounced level of heat at the end compared to the Les Pavots and not as balanced. Still very enjoyable.

Nice garnet color. Although enjoyable alone as an every day wine, with food it lost its way. Short-medium finish with a medium weight.

Popped and poured with dinner (Thai with heat and fat which helped the wine). Very tannic all the way through the finish. Without decanting would say this is better not drunk alone unless you prefer a less than balanced wine for sipping.

Deep ripe cherry and berries and very soft tannins with beautiful floral aromas which opened over the hour. Nice balance and finish. I enjoyed with no decant time but rather letting it open in the glass.

Night #1 very, very unpleasantly acidic and highly tannic with very pale fruit. Night #2 it was void of any character....underwhelming in every aspect and a disappointment.

Quite a wonderful wine. Very smooth with a long finish. More of a heavy cab. Decanted for 1.5 hours and it could have used more...

Popped and poured. Very fruit forward upon opening. After an hour, found it to be too jammy and limited finish.

Very balanced, rich and smooth. At first opening I was expecting to be more aromatic. However, after an hour and a half decanting it began to open.
