lovely wine at the DUO kvarterskrog in Umeå, Sweden. Worked perfectly with the tungue of veal and celery with horseradish foam. Very "firely" and spicy.

Vanilla, stable, bitumen, truffles, leather, very complex and no as fruity as I had hoped very mature - passed its best before date? No sure, lot more attractive than the same wine from 2009 though.

Fruity flavour with vanilla and roasted oak tones. Plums, cherries, tobacco, chocolate. A bit "tied up" could easily be stored for some years.
The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Slow.

Tried wine at Jamie Olivers restaurant Barbecoa in London. Lovely to both an entré of chicken Liver and the dry-aged Sirloin steak.

Very pleasant surprise. I just discovered californian producers a couple of month ago and am dazzled. This is not one of the best of course but the quality of this wine, as well as the wine per buck is high. Aged on french barrels, 10 per cent new, for 11 month gives us not only a silky smooth classic pinot noir but also a lovely oaky taste. Absolutely worth the effort of carrying home a couple of cases

Together with a lamb rack, pickled radishes and cauliflower and cabbage. That was a good experience, the magic happened when I tried it with some dark chocolate with sea salt after the dinner. Amazing - when having this wine, save some for dessert! Brilliant combination that really grabbed on to the cacao and made some miraculous with it. Unexpected and delightful.
The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Medium. The body is Medium. The wine has Satin-like texture. The wine finishes Long.

Måste luftas minst en timma, sedan öppnar sig ett trevligt vin som kräver kött med karaktär. Mycket av allt. Helt klart en trevlig upplevelse.

ungt vin med smak av björnbär och inslag av blåbär. Kanske någtot tunn i smaken.Inte så illa som lyfts fram - självklart ett ungt vin men alls inte en katastrof. Skulle funka utmärkt till vitt kött eller fisk. Ljus röd färg på vinet.
