No detailed notes. Decanted and drank over two days. Nice, but not memorable. Agreed with others mocha notes, nice mouthfeel and extended finish. It also was a good lip-stainer... so tannins, but well integrated.

Rating based on day two. Decanted. After two hours, was still tart and disjointed. It REALLY came together on day two. I didn’t take detailed notes, but so happy I didn’t give it up on first impression.

Deep straw color. Nose of Meyer lemon and pineapple. Palate was rich stone fruit with a touch of acidity to keep it bright through the finish. Medium body provides a rich mouth-feel. A real treat from a wine I had never tried before (although like Keenan’s red portfolio already).

Had at Ruth’s Cris Steak House. Tight when PNP, but opened up well on modest time in a decanter. No detailed notes, but surprised how modest the tannins were for a 2017. Not the best QPR (especially at restaurant markup) but a very enjoyable wine on someone else’s nickel (pun intended ).

Opened to make risotto, but then tried some in a glass. Bright straw colored and clear. Citrus and pineapple on the nose. Lemon curd on the palate. Residual acidity. Solid Cali Chardonnay at a good QPR at PA State Store sale price

Think this actually improved from 3 years ago... smooth, but still somewhat one-dimensional palate. Improved on day two. Nose is rich and tannins fully integrated. Limited finish, a bit tart, but rich mouth feels makes is last longer that flavors would otherwise accomplish. Held up well for a modest cost wine.

Found at the bottom of a mixed case in the cellar. Cork was weak but pulled without breaking. Wine is bricked, but clear. Nose is soft but clean, palate is one dimensional and flat... but remarkable for 20 years on this bottle. Give it an Honorable Mention for that!

Initial nose was a bit hot, but mellowed nicely sour cherry and some floral notes (lavender) then come through. Trailing scent of some baking spice. Body is medium. On the palate... cherry (less tart) and lavender, nice but not long lasting.

Got this on the cheap at clearance sale price from PA State Store ($15)... so I think a very good QPR.

PNP at Restaruant; wonderful rich nose. Purple fruit and violets on the nose. Purple fruit on the palate, with soft tannins and a medium finish. Very elegant and composed; no one element out weighing another.

Great QPR - a full and richly flavored syrah. Spicy and fresh. Nice pick-up from the 5% Viognier. Full bodied.

Solid, but not the star of a five wine lineup. Decanted for 3+ hours. Red fruit profile but not fruit forward. Very integrated tannins. May be at peak.

PnP - initial sips were very tart, but within 10 minutes in the glass, it softened and opened up, became very enjoyable. Balanced between Old World and New World styles; nice fruits coming forward but some good acidity keeping it vibrant at the finish. A nice change from the normal PN lineup.

No detailed notes, but very enjoyable. Rich and full flavors. Lighter in color than the flavor delivers (expected more of a straw color)… some vanilla, but not quite to caramel. Very good!

PNP. Initially, fruit was overpowering (followed a Ladera Howell Mtn cab)... seemed unbalanced. Two days later, came together well. Lots of Syrah dark purple fruit but more integrated and toned down. Full body (a hint “syrupy”) and long finish. Enjoyable... but will try an extended decanting for the next one.

PNP (first tastes) and decanted and consumed over 3 hours. Initial impressions: nose is surprisingly rich and complex - earthy and spicy. Palette is more subdued but well integrated. Tannins are nearly absent... just a touch, which is still nice, but makes me worry a bit about longevity. Drinking nice now.

Opened up a bit more... will update with second day ipressions

Cloudy straw color. Nose is soft stone fruits and yeast. Palate follows, with a nice creaminess. Little acidity. May at the end of its run, but very nice. Reminiscent of a good Newton Unfiltered. But initial price was steep (but the view from their tasting room was worth it!).

Actually quite surprised; possibly the best PA wine I’ve had. Nice purple fruit on the nose; maybe a little violet too. (On day 2, nose was more subtle.). Palate was consistent with a little jamminess. Some tartness on the finish. Not sure how much this would improve with age... but very drinkable now.

Rich, blackberry and briar nose, with some spice coming through. LOTS of fruit on the palate almost feels a little sweetness due to the rich fruits. Well integrated tannins and a bit of tartness on a medium finish. Very nice. This was pricey when I got it... but it was an enjoyable indulgence!

Not complex, but a nice casual wine. Some garrique and a hint of spice on the nose, but palate, while not distinctive, is still nice. The simplicity served well in a paring with grilled Tuscan-style tuna.

Decanted for two hours before my first taste. Rich purple fruit on the nose (later, more subtle fragrances of violets and lavender came out and really enhanced the fruit). Palate was darker, with hints of black licorice on the finish. Well integrated tannins contributed to a long finish. Sorry this was my last of three bottles - enjoyed them all and all delivered above their price point.

Initial taste nose from the bottle had some green pepper. Left in decanter for 2+ hours... better, but not distinctive. Improved on day two, but I was expecting more. Have a second bottle, so will hope that impresses me more. Solid QPR at PA State Store clearance price.... but prefer the $40-priced 2007 Yverdon Vineyard Cab by Terre Valentine

Good. Soft red fruit. A little to syrupy without enough backbone at the finish.
