Tasting Notes for BeagleFan

(4 notes on 4 wines)

1 - 4 of 4 Sort order
Red
From the Producer:
50% Cab Franc / 50% Malbec
This is “ one monster of a wine ”, no pun intended. It has a heady nose, with notes of black cassis, ripe plum, black cherry, and an undertone of brown sugar and a inky black color. The legs slowly slither down the glass and the beautiful rich fruit feels like satin over the lips. This full bodied wine greets you with flavors of black fruit and a mix of intriguing pencil shavings and black tea leaves, then proceeds to a long finish of blueberry, raspberry and a hint of violet.

Light, a little sweet. Not overly complex, or expensive.

This may be past its drinking prime. The smell is of a toasty, nutty vanilla scent. Very strong vanilla/banana flavor.
