5/14/21, 1:26 AM - I would recommend opening the bottle in the morning for drinking during the evening...We recently had a VSU 09 which was just opened 1 hour prior tasting... that definitely was not enough. No one really liked the wine until it had sit in the glass for 4+ hours...But it is matter of taste ;0)

Sans vouloir froisser personne, je pense que certains palais outre Atlantique préfèrent des vins costauds, un peu "four square", avec du goût, alors que les Européens, en général toujours, préfèrent des vins plus proches de leur terroir. Cos 2003 est un vin très bien fait, mais il n'est pas typé Bordeaux, selon moi.

3/31/21, 3:01 AM - Thanks for your notes (in general)!I had Latour 1985 several times (2 mags and 2 bottles) and just once the juice was really great.They had a lot of cork issues in the mid 80's unfortunately and this ended up with unclean bottles.I also had 1986, 1988 and 1989 from this period and just the latter was excellent.Cheers.
