Lemon, almonds, watercress, and slightly bitter almost metallic note that all works very well together! 15 year old wine that tasted both fresh and slightly oxidized. Very nice aperitif and should hold bottles for a summer picnic.

Best stage yet, tannin integrated - cherry and red plumb notes. A touch heavy on the oak but glad to have shed the astringency for some fruit zest.

Maybe there was a lot of bottle variation but this esteemed vintage offering from Haut-Bergey has been a dud for me. Everything was stored perfectly but can't think of one bottle from six that was enjoyable.
