2013 Woot Cellars Revelry Sonoma County Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Beautiful wine to the eyeball on initial p&p. Dark purplish/red color without sediment and the color is eye candy for me. Pretty closed on the nose but I picked up slight aroma of cranberries and cherries. This wine was paired with homemade chicken pesto pasta with basil from the garden and held up quite nicely. Again, pretty closed on the palate but I got subtle taste of cherries and cranberries. I’m excited to see how develops over the course of 24 hours...

A fantastic aged Cab to celebrate my 47th birthday. Thank you Mr. Wellington!

Edit: enjoying the last glass on June 4th and it’s even better three days later.

This was such a fantastic Zin-tastic bottle made by PW. Initial PNP: underwhelmed by ETOH on the nose and palate. Very fruit forward; berries, jammy but dry. I am a fan of Syrah and Petite Sirah and this bottle did not disappoint. Well done PW...

I mean WOW! This bottle was absolutely fantastic! Old world style, dark ruby/ purplish color. Musty on the nose with slight smell of alcohol but so smooth swirling around in the mouth and down the hatch. I am hoping this will continue to hold as I would love to drink a bottle every year or every other year. 80% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow! This is drinking incredibly well right now!

Another fantastic cab by Ty. It was quite enjoyable when opened two day ago but tonight it is even better and reminds me of a Petite Sirah. Bold purple color with an earthy nose. This wine has dark fruit flavors with a silky finish that coats your entire mouth. Well done Ty...
Red
Enjoyable on initial PNP and the next night too. Thanks PW.

A great cab on the initial PNP and continued to drink well throughout the evening. This reminded me of an old world style cab as opposed to the new world California cab. Bottom line, I loved it.

Wow! What a fantastic Syrah on day 1 and again on day 3. Thanks Ty!

Seriously, this is a fantastic Syrah, and I only have one more 2010 in my cellar :(

Beautiful classic syrah and was quite enjoyable on initial PNP. Dark color with garnet edges. Sediment was present which is anticipated with Peter's wines which are minimally processed. I loved it.

There hasn't been a Ty wine I haven't thoroughly enjoyed and this 2013 Syrah is no exception. The first this that grabs my attention it the dark, purple stain on the cork and the color of the juice inside does disappoint. The wine was pulled from my wine cellar which is currently at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and is surprisingly very fragrant on initial PNP. I am getting coffee, blackberry and mocha on the nose and the same on the palate with a mild pepper spice as anticipated with this varietal and the finish is smooth and silky.

This PS represents EVERYTHING I love in a wine. Beautiful, deep purple color with dark berries on the nose. It’s pretty tight on first taste but I anticipate this will open up as the night goes on and it is exposed to air. This will likely be even better tomorrow night. And, this is why I am a wine club member of Elyse Winery! Well done Ray and Nancy!

Lovely 11 year old Spanish bottle of 100% Tempranillo.

This 10 year old bottle of estate Syrah is is still drinking very nicely and is always a crowd pleaser. I'm glad to still have 3 bottles of this vintage and 1 bottle of the 2005 vintage.

Wow! This was a lovely bottle of wine from the Calistoga region. It had a deep purplish color and was a delightful full bodied California Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a crowd favorite next to the 2004 Wellington Estate Syrah.
Red
This 13 year old bottle of estate Syrah drank surprisingly well. We opened up 4 bottles of wine during this tasting and this particular bottle was a crowd favorite.

Drinking very well right at seven years young and it paired quite nicely with eggplant parmesan, pasta and roasted brussel sprouts. Thanks PW, WD and WW.

I opened this up to celebrate the fact my wife said "I do" 14 years ago. This vintage is still drinking quite nicely for a 14 year old bottle!

We opened three different bottles up tonight: a California Syrah, California Cabernet Sauvignon and this California Petite Verdot and this bottle was by far our favorite! Well done Ty!

What a fantastic bottle of wine from some very close friends who are acquaintances of Willis and Joyce Johnson! This bottle of estate Cabernet Sauvignon is from Suisun Valley, which is just east of Napa and is grown on an 80 acre vineyard under the label Villa de Madre. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson bottle this wine to give away as gifts to their family and friends and this 2010 vintage did not disappoint.

COLOR: dark red with the slightest hint of purple with sediment noted indicating it was minimally filtered
NOSE: initial whiff was closed but opened up throughout the evening. Cherries, red currant, leather
TASTE: fruity up front and well balanced

One of my favorite varietals and Ty's Petite Sirah does not disappoint!

I really want to love this aged Merlot but it's just ok for me. Initially,it's "hot" on the nose and not very smooth going down; however, it does improve after being opened for a few hours.

This was my third bottle of Flying Wine and the cork had the same issue as the previous two bottles! Again, it didn't seem to effect the juice in the bottle but I can't I say I thoroughly enjoyed drinking it especially on day 2. Now I'm beginning to wonder if the juice has been effected by the tainted cork...

This wine is just ok for me.

P&P through a soriee decanter. A nice amount of dark sediment was present on the bottom of the cork.

COLOR: garnet red ever so slightly cloudy.
NOSE: funky, tobacco, cedar
TASTE: initial taste reminded me of other bottles of a different vintage. Cedar and tobacco; very balanced in the palate.
IMPRESSIONS: I'm a fan of Ardente CS and this 12 year old bottle did not disappoint.

This took a couple of hours to open up and was much enjoyable after 2-3 hours.

This is still quite enjoyable but I believe it is past it's peak. I plan to consume my final 12 bottles before the end of the year. Drink up!!

Wow! Though I am a wine club member of Ty Caton and have had several of their varietals, this was my first TyTanium and it was FANTASTIC!! Deep purple in color, much like a petite sirah, with dark berries on the nose and a mouth full of dark fruit.
