Rosé
Solid everyday rosé. Give it a few minutes to blow off the heat, but it’s pretty delicious. Great QPR.

Rich, very smooth drinking the second night, a little heavy. Giving this a little time to develop maybe.

Wonderfully flavorful without being too dramatic. Dark cherry, blackberry, undertones of blueberry and cola. A little hot the first night (without breathing first at all), but perfect the second night.

A bit sweet and floral on its own, especially on a humid night. Will try again with food and a cooler evening.

Refreshing and spritzy citrus with a sort of banana and peach custard flavor. Great with ginger salmon and toasted broccoli tonight.

Love this. Part of my high score is simple QPR. Perfect daily drinker, versatile go-to, straightforwardly beautiful. A little dryer than a lot of the easy fall-backs in the $20 range, but without sacrificing fruit or texture.

Bright with pear, apple. Fuller than expected, not too hot, not too fruity. Great summer wine, but good anytime. Lovely.

Great QPR. Not brilliant, but boldly fruity. Easy crowd pleaser for casual events, bonfires, camping, drinking alone in misery, or any other occasion when you want good wine but aren’t paying for great.
Rosé
Spritzy, bright, fading a little quickly though.

Wonderful blast from the past, akin to aged Alsace. Apples, pear, apricot, honey. Light but full flavored. Age just makes it even more wonderful.

Super jammy with some combination of plum and fig and boysenberry all up top. Delicious and unexpected. Great pop-and-pour.
— EDIT ONE DAY LATER: Absolutely worthless 24 hours later. Delicious the first night and then just shot the second. Amazing. Have to drink in one sitting.

Dig it.
A little hot for just 13.5%, but delicious.

Well rounded lemon and sweet grass, soft, a lovely balance of tart and sweet.

Much better experience with this bottle, just 5 or 6 months after the last note I made. Maybe it was open longer or something was different about our food that night. In any case, this was thoroughly enjoyable.

Easy everyday drinker, esp with hot dogs, burgers, grilled chicken. Perfectly good, not great.

Drinks more like a cab blend than a typical NW Pinot, meatier. Set expectations accordingly and you’ll be happy.

Black cherry and bacon rule this simple fruity combo. It’s a cheap date, like a more self-indulgent alternative to Ménage a Trois cab blend, but there is enough Mourvèdre to keep this in check and give some balance too.
Perfectly enjoyable with chocolate or cheese, and not too special for an ice cube in the glass.

This is ok but not great. I could be completely wrong, but it tastes aldulterated, like they tried to do too much to correct something lacking. The result is an overly oaky and pretty hot experience.

I’ll enjoy the rest of my bottles over ice on a porch in the summer. This is top notch for that purpose.

Great pop and pour pinot for most meals. Great QPR below $20.

If a red pepper were asked what kind of wine it would most like to be, surely the answer would be “%#&@!”

Tasty, spicy, confetti bomb of California vegetable flavor combined with ground black pepper. Better on the second night, especially when paired with an aged Gouda.

Open at 8:00, pour at 11:00 — a.m. or p.m. — and your guests will all shout “%#&@ yeah!”

Delicious sample of Willamette Valley pinot. Great QPR. Definitely buying more from this vineyard.

Cherry, licorice, a little fig perhaps. Well balanced, richly flavored without being too fruity or overwhelming, like a little red vine candy with a grownup sensibility.

Not necessarily a pop and pour, but can be.
First day drinking was very fresh, with bright herbal notes of tomato vine and bay leaf, like spring in California put in a bottle.
Third day drinking this mellowed and had the warmth and integration I expect of a daily drinking Bougeoulais.
Interesting, and quite good QPR.
White - Fortified
The sweetness of the (presumed) fortification doesn't play out well with the acidity and bitter undertones, yet the bitter elements almost beg for a mixer. Not ideal.

Nougat, almond, toasted cashew, bitter roots.

Simple, pleasant. Light leather and tobacco, cherry. Nothing stunning but quite good.

Contrary to some, I doubt this will benefit from any further aging. There isn't enough material to make it much more dynamic or robust than it is now after 14 years.

My favorite Evesham pinot thus far. Earthy, woody, but still maintaining the elegance of others from this winemaker that I found too thin. Plenty of terroir in this bottle.

Drinking well now, but I'm sure it hasn't hit its peak.

Very interesting, unexpected experience. Red peppers, tomato vine, and celery root hit me immediately, with a wonderful blend of dark red berry flavors rounding it out.

Drinking very nicely right now. Very versatile wine, but don't be caught off guard by the fresh garden flavors.
