I would agree with the previous comments. This will improve with a little more time, but you don't need to wait. Of course the reward for waiting is that an already elegant, smooth, really enjoyable wine will be a little better with each passing year. Really glad a purchased a case - maybe one every six months. It will be off the charts if this wine continues to integrate and the finish extends a little bit more.

    I think the drinking window is fair - maybe a bit past 2024 (26-27). I think the balance is already present, but will improve. There are enough tannins present to carry this wine another 7 to 9 years. We haven't opened a bottled since late 2017. If I change my opinion as I open the next couple bottles I will make sure to post a note. If the price is reasonable - it should be a good purchase for you. Hope this helped - cheers!
