This bottle was unlike any Grenache I have ever experienced. The fruit was heavy, almost dense, with aspects of prunes and plums. Wonderful.

Additional time in the cellar brought this bottle to wonderful balance between the Syrah and the Mourvedre. It had a dark, brooding (good) quality. Strong but fruity, a substantial wine.

This bottle was extraordinary. Fully mature, complex, evolving in the glass although better on first evening than on the second. Just lovely.

Pleasant enough, but subdued and one dimensional. More time in cellar needed? Maybe, but it seemed to be lacking in depth and character.

Lovely, mid-weight, soft tannins. Red and black cherries, violets, strawberries. Great food wine. Lasted well into third day. Drinking well now but clearly has some potential for further cellar time.

Deed, dark, dense, earthy, but had a hard time opening up. Needs a decant, and maybe a little more time in cellar.

Dark and brooding. Figs and prunes. Popped and poured at BYO; needed 30 minutes to open up. With a proper decant, in a good drinking window now and thoroughly enjoyable, but seems like it would benefit from more cellar time.

Still room to evolve but couldn't stop myself. Exquisite blend of Syrah 48%, Grenache 35%, and Mourvedre 17%. The varietals danced around with each other. Luxurious.

Blend of Zinfandel 34%, Mourvedre 31%, Tempranillo 16%, Syrah 10%, and Petite Sirah 9%. Needed time to settle down and smooth out. Better on second and even third day.

I couldn't improve upon, and therefore adopt, Edifice's commentary. The bottle held in there over three days; didn't lose anything and maybe even improved.

Mid-weight. Pleasant but not ethereal. In fact, it seemed pretty ordinary. Not a favorable QPR.

Blend of Grenache 69% Mourvedre 15% Syrah 13% Cournoise 2% and Roussanne 1%, all coming together nicely. Opened several hours beforehand but not decanted. At first the Grenache hogged the spotlight, but it evolved in the glass to be more of a blend. Drinking well, but clearly potential to age in the cellar.

The Grenache dominates. Sweet, fruity, light on its feet, with just a little undercurrent of other Rhone varietals.

Neither as fabulous nor as deficient as in the other comments, somewhere in between. Rich, dense fruit, black cherries and red cherries, with some plums. This bottle not sour at all. QPR debatable.

Rhone varietal blend of Syrah 46%, Grenache 33%, and Mourvedre 21%. At first, the Grenache was dominant, then it shifted to a balance between the Grenache and Syrah. Kept evolving over three days, the Mourvedre always lurking in the background. Most interesting bottle of wine
