Out of balance and hot.

Not a lot of fruit stuffing here. A little hot too.

This is heavy on Merlot with enough Cabernet to lend some angles. A really pleasant, very easy drinking, wine without a lot of complexity. Medium acidity. Ready to pop and pour. A good daily drinker/QPR.

Drinking well now, although I will save remaining bottles for another year or two. Tannins rounding off and loads of the stuffing that comes with a few years on Materium were present. Pulled out for my anniversary dinner and it paired well with the ribeye.

I'm new to the Tempier Bandol fold. Have held this since purchase to abide by the 5 year + drinking maxim. Paired with grouse and woodcock and seemed a great match. Strong spine and seems to be at the beginning of a good integration with the secondaries.

Last bottle. Much better now than its first few years, and rewarding the cellaring. Still cohesive with small nose, full body, very soft fruits and modest finish.

Although these reward age, I like them nearly as much new. This harkens to the 2009 for me, with lots of fruit and structure right off the bat. Don't know if my remaining bottles will last the year. A great QPR.

No reason to delay drinking this. Popped and poured at Shaman. Ready from the start, but full stride after 45 minutes. Good acid/fruit balance, long finish and good red berry nose.

Brought this to a barbecue place last night to share with a friend. Really benefitted from 30+ minutes of air. Shared some samples with waitstaff/management and they were fighting us for the last drops from this bottle.

Compared to my last note, the fruits are still strongly integrated in this very well balanced wine, while the tannins are getting gentler. A wee bit of heat, but that's to be expected with such a relatively young wine. I will try to save my extra bottles for consumption later, because this is going to improve. A very good wine to introduce a less experienced wine drinker to cabernet -- my friend had one of those "ah hah" moments.

Paired with duck. This was very popular with our group and the Bordeaux was neglected until we finished this. Incomplete note due to my watching the meal prep, but it did open up very progressively after 30 minutes. Full body and strong fruit.

No decant. Unfolded nicely over an hour. Such good fruit.

This is drinking well now. Drank too fast last night for proper notes, but really enjoyed the good balance of fruit and grip on this. A very good QPR.

Decanted for 1 hour. Significant heat still there. The cherry liqueur flavor too. Probably needs more time. I'd sit on these for a while. Edit: 1 night in the refrigerator really improved this. Heat had largely dissipated and fruit notes were much better integrated. Revising score from 89 to 91.

Tasted at the Wine Discount Center California Cabernet tasting. Much more ready to consume now than the other 2007 upper end bottles at this tasting (e.g. Caymus, Justin, Shafer 1.5, Cade and Larkmead). Soft tannins, loads of fruit on the nose and good finish.

My first Aubert and it lives up to the promise. Terrific with the whitefish appetizer before an early Easter dinner. Kept getting better and more complex every fifteen minutes in the glass.

Decanted for an hour last night to enjoy with ribeyes. Didn't pick up the eucalyptus. I did detect and enjoy the thick currant aroma. Agree with the consensus that there is medium body, light tannins, big fruit palate and good acid balance. This is drinking very well now. Wish I had more.

Very pleasant and in balance. Will be improving with time. Count me in with those picking up the toast and acidity.
