Drank w/ Christmas dinner serving beef tenderloin and this wine was superb. Decanted for 40 min., the tannins were surprisingly soft for this six year old cab. Lot's of dark fruit and pepper with a hint of vanilla. This wine is in a great place right now. Can't wait to see where it will be at age 10.

Decanted for an hour and paired with rack of lamb. Excellent combination and this wine is drinking splendidly right now. Good earthy funk, with tar and tobacco, smooth tannins and still good acidity. Wish I had more bottles of this!

A Bordeaux it's not, but a very good example of a fine California Cab. Drank half the bottle tonight so we'll see what tomorrow brings. For now still very fruity with primarily dark fruit, but well integrated. Chocolatey finish with balanced tannins. Would have liked a bit more acidity. Don't think this has a super long cellar life but a couple of more years will probably put it at its peak.

A great wine but a little early in its maturity to drink right now. 3 bottles to go that I'll hold onto for awhile.

Loved this wine! Didn't decant but it was still a winner after some time in the glass. Dark fruit, tar, tobacco were all present. Very spicy as well. 5 more bottles to go which I'll drink over the next several years. This should get better with more age.

Loved this wine. Decanted for about an hour and this helped soften the tannins considerably. Dark fruit and spice abound. I still think this is one of the best wine deals around. Bedrock rocks!

Better than the earlier reviews led me to think. Very spicy and the fruit has toned down a bit. Not a lot of structure but a pleasant wine nonetheless.

Outstanding wine that still took a 4 hr decant for it to start showing well. This Barolo is classic with a good 10 years of drinking life left.

Very peppery, good fruit and fine tannins make this a pleasure to drink now. Should last for 5+ years in cellar as well.
