Rich, creamy and full bodied but not too sweet. With the flavors of figs and raisins it is a great after dinner drink.

A sparkling red Shiraz that is meant to be drunk cold. It's kind of strange to fool your tastebuds into drinking a sparkiling red. Just like the first time I ate green ketchup. Other than that I thought it was a typical Aussie Shiraz. Medium bodied and a little hot.

Pear is a unique flavor for a wine. Not a bad flavor just different. Even though it comes in a 750mL bottle Iwould recommend drinking it in small quantities like a dessert wine.

It's carbonated like a sparkling wine so treat it like such. it gets worse when it gets warmer and loses its bubblyness if left uncorked in the bottle or in your glass too long. Great taste and full of flavor. I think it is definitely worth a second try.

They blended six varieties into this wine and they did it wonderfully. It had a great full nose, medium to full bodied and medium tannins. It was smooth in the mouth and finish. Awesome!

Tasted figgy and nutty, with hints of raisins and caramel. Creamy and smooth in the mouth and the 18% alcohol level didn't overwhelm the flavor. All in all it was well balanced.

Better if decanted for at least half an hour. It then softened up and lost its strong alcohol flavor. Medium bodied and low tannins.

They claim that this wine is done in the Riesling style, and it shows. Off-dry with 2% residual sugar. A Viognier, Chardonnay and Vidal Blanc blend. The Vidal adds the sweetness. Crisp, fruity and refreshing on a hot summer's day.

Shockingly dissapointing. 18% alcohol and it shows because it tastes like it was fortified. It was full in the mouth and tasted like peach and apricot. But treat this one like a port or sherry.

For such an inexpensive bottle ($4) it turned out to be good. It had a deep and opaque purplish/garnet color, instead of tawny. It starts out slightly spirity, but when it oxidizes in your glass it brought out the flavors of caramel, fig, molasses, raisins and a little nut.

This wine is 100% Norton grape, "America's Grape" and 4% residual sugar. It should have been blended. Norton must be an acquired taste. I've been drinking it for over 2 years and it still taste weird to me. The grape has a powerful taste that just takes over whatever else the winemaker might try to do. It will also takes over the taste of any other wine that it's blended with, when it has the majority blend. I think that the tastes and aromas are very similar to Chambourcin. It had low tannins, some light cherry tastes and was off-dry without being sweet. If you also don't like the flavor of Norton, you could try to serve it chilled to bottle up some of that unique flavor.

Sweeter than you might expect, but on a hot day it gets the job done by cooling you off in a refreshing way. A Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, and Niagara blend. The Vidal Blanc delivers the aweetness while the Chambourcin takes over the palate with its unique taste. There were hints of dark berries, peach, and tropical fruit.

This port was dark and opaque with a full bouquet . It tasted sweet, thick, rich and full in the mouth without being too syrupy. Smooth finish and minimal tannins. It had raisin and chocolate notes. It would be great with dessert or sipping on its own.

THis wine is made of 100% Gaglioppo (a native Southern Italian grape), but it is done in a Pinot Noir style. It is medium to light bodied, dry and spicy. It had a hint of cherry and was a little acidicy but still good.

This wine was absolutely outstanding. But I'm not that surprized, because Tarara Vineyards makes some great wines. It was a red blend of Cab. Franc, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin and rasberries. And you serve it slightly chilled. It was sooooo smooth and off-dry without being too sweet It smells jammy and the taste stays in the mouth for a long time. Drink it byitself, then eat some chocolate and try it again and notice how different it taste.

This was a real good $10 bottle of sweet Auslese Reisling. I might not necessarily consume multiple glasses of it during a dinner, but as an apertif or dessert wine it would be perfect. It has a pineapple, melon apricot aroma. Very smooth in the mouth with no bite and a long aftertaste. It also is not that syrupy either. Also because it has a higher sugar content it will keep its freshness and good taste after being opened, for at least 4-5 days. You still have to recork it or vacuum seal it.
