Gorgeous wine that is not yet at it's potential. Reminds me of a right bank Bordeaux.. I'll wait a couple years before drinking the next one.

2016 Château Bellevue St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

No decant for this bottle, just popped and poured. Beautiful dark garnet color and a rich combination of red and blue fruits greet you as you approach the glass. This is drinking great right now and I think its going to hold up and evolve for at least 10 more years. Most of the tannins are already smoothing out and the Bellevue profile is coming through.

2/4/19, 7:00 AM - The 2015 definitely has the guts (minerality, tannins, and weight) to be a great wine. Right now its just not showing me anything special. I'll drink the 07', 09', & 10's for now and wait another few years for the 15' to develop more in the bottle.
