Fruity with great aromas. Still way too young.

Crisp with good acidity, nice structure with mild citrus notes on the nose. Less fruity than the typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Delicious, went well with our Dijon encrusted Salmon.

Fantastic wine, needed more time to be appreciated. Lots of spice and chocolate.

Decantered twice and this wine still needed time. Poured and it took an hour before it opened up to reveal fruit on the nose and a earthy bouquet. Drink now.....

Taken from an E-mail quote by Joe Davis, the Arcadian winemaker on 7/9/2009 ........
"If you have Arcadian tucked in your cellar from prior to the 2003 please start to take a look at them. Many of these wines while they have a future can certainly be considered for the table now. And if by chance you do not, then we will be happy to share some of ours with you"

Compared it to George's Cycles Gladiator Merlot..Much smoother, more complex, heavier,
a truely good merlot for $17.00...
The Gladiator was more fruity, almost like a Pinot, but for $7.50 a steal.

Good pinot taste, a little on the light side (not big) but lacking any nose. Tried the next day, still good but still no nose.

Still young, very fruity, lots goin on, unusual aftertaste(due to complexity & 5-different grapes).
