Chinon in the light style with pleasant fruit. Good.
Red
A quaffer in the Bourgueil/ Chinon light style with 11.5 alchol, but with a range of flavorers we found in no other wines of this style over several days of tasting in the region. A delightful wine. Excellent!

A bigger more tannic wine than La Grangrs. 2010 will be a better year for aging than the 2009. 80% from plateau and 20% from various plots. Sold out in France, but on it's way to Kermit's who had the winery hold it until it would be better for immediate consumption.
White
Fresh lively honeysuckle, lemon, pineapple, apple, well structured. Excellent.

Tasted from the tank at Barnard Baudry. Floral, fresh fruits. Easy to drink now with gentle tannins. From sandy soil between the road and the river. To be bottled in several weeks.

Rough, tannic, some dark fruit and earth, but awkward. After several hours no improvement. A disappointment from a producer we like and Cairanne which we love.
