But still drinking very pleasantly.

Open at 6pm, bloosom at 8 to 9pm, but down the hill at 10pm.

A decent claret at bargain price. But I still think Poujeaux 2009 is a bit better.

Still too young, tough already drinkable.

But I will wait for at least 3-4 years. Strong black fruits at this stage and not yet developing any material secondary notes. Really still too young.

Agreed with others in CT, this will blossom if you give it 3 hours or more air time.

Not a complicated wine, but already a very good one within this price level. Solid red fruits with some oaky flavors, medium to full bodied, smooth texture. Perform much better than Gloria 2010 that night!

Used Coravin once for this wine in 2018. Revisit again yesterday and the wine was nearly dead..

Don't use Coravin unless you can finish drinking it within 2 weeks or you don't mind your collection bearing the risk of total loss..

My third time this year Coravin ruined my wine..

You will not be disappointed.

Drank on my daughter 100 days.

This PC 2008 is juicy with ripe plum, cherry and other red fruits intermixed together, with a hint of coffee like flavour. Smooth and very balanced. WOTN.

Relatively weak in front of Torbreck The Struie 2004.

I can recall how aromatic it was for d'Issan 2007, but I can't find similar character for this 2008.

Drank a 3L on my daughter 100 days.

Matured shiraz, dominated with blackcurrant and plum, oak is gone, spicy is gone, all dissolved together, quite harmony, but rather straightforward.

Past the peak, need to drink now.

Rich and opulent black fruits on initial opening. Ripe and sweet blackcurrant, full bodied, smooth and juicy aftertaste. But after that, there is no further development, the taste is a little bit fading out or keep at that level. It is still a very good wine, but is it not strong enough to hold the whole night? Is it due to bottle variation or storage condition problem? Bought from idealwine.com few years ago...
